If you can't win it big in the lottery, you hope the ones who do seem worthy of the prize. Which is why few can be disappointed that a Minnesota couple has come forward to claim one of the biggest jackpots in North American history a whopping $180 million.

The Waseca couple appeared this afternoon at a news conference at Minnesota Lottery headquarters in Roseville, introduced as the lucky winners of Saturday's $180.1 million Powerball drawing. The Rosenaus said they'll take the lump-sum payment of $88 million, or $59.6 million after taxes.

Couple could present winning lottery ticket at Lottery HQ today
A middle-aged couple from Waseca County in southern Minnesota is expected to come forward today and claim the largest Powerball prize ever won in the state.
The winners' accountant, Dale Deraad, said his clients are making preparations to appear at state lottery headquarters in Roseville this afternoon to certify the winning ticket worth $180.1 million.

Man dons disguise to claim lottery jackpot
A New York lottery winner said he disguised himself with a marker-drawn beard when he accepted his prize to protect his new fortune from thieves.
Michael Perez, 51, said he used a marker to draw a goatee on his face and further disguised himself with a hat and sunglasses so thieves would not recognize him while he accepted the $14 million ceremonial check from the New York Lottery, the New York Post reported Wednesday.
