$32 million Mega Millions ticket claimed in LA area
The numbers are baffling. The jackpot in the Mega Millions draw on Tuesday, May 29 was huge $32 million. That money will soon be Cindy Huynh's to enjoy.

Two big-money Mega Millions tickets could be lost, CA Lottery official says
Two months after a record-breaking Mega Millions lottery draw, two tickets valued at $227,955 each remain unclaimed, and a California Lottery official said Wednesday the tickets including one sold in Hollywood may very well have been lost.

Two workers in lottery pool sue over $118 million ticket
Two employees of a Chicago Heights, Illinois, bakery are suing co-workers over a $118 million Mega Millions jackpot, alleging they were unfairly left out of the winnings.

A California woman has sued her son and accused him of making off with her $51 million Mega Millions lottery ticket, and then racking up expenses on houses, cars, and cash gifts.

Woman arrested for trying to fake jackpot winning lottery ticket
Note to anyone thinking of gaming the state lottery: it never works.
An Elgin, Illinois, woman tried to cash in on the record $656 million Mega Millions lottery jackpot with a ticket she bought online eight minutes after the winning numbers were drawn, officials said today.

A retired computer systems designer and his wife, a computer programmer, have claimed the final share of the March 30 $656 million Mega Millions lottery drawing.
Merle, 65, and Pat Butler, 62, claimed the jackpot at the Red Bud Village Hall in the small southern Illinois town of Red Bud. The winning ticket was sold at a nearby Motomart in the town of 6,000 people.

Illinois Mega Millions winner to come forward
The final winner of the record $656 million Mega Millions jackpot will accept a check for $218.6 million on Wednesday in the southern Illinois town of Red Bud where the winning ticket was purchased, the Illinois Lottery said Monday.
