Since July 1, the New Jersey Lottery has been streaming its daily lottery drawings only on its Web site and on its Facebook page.

Some not pleased with N.J. Lottery Internet drawing broadcast
But move to Web might eventually broaden the number of TV stations to carry live draws
It doesn't matter what changes: any time a change occurs at the lottery, there are some who won't like it.
Genevieve Tappan has played the New Jersey Lottery for more than 40 years, but hasn't bought a ticket since Saturday, when she realized the nightly drawings were no longer being televised.
I like to see them pull it so they don't have the chance to switch it, said Tappan, 80, of East Orange. Old

Richard Lustig faced a stack of medical bills after his son was born in 1992. At the same time, his house in South Florida had a leaky roof.
Then he plunked down a buck for a Millionaire Magic scratch-off ticket. Seconds later, he was $10,000 richer.
But he and his family didn't even go out for a celebratory dinner. By the time the bills were paid and the roof was repaired, there was nothing left over, he said.

Radio spots from a million-dollar advertising blitz for the Massachusetts Lottery continued to run yesterday, two days after state Treasurer Timothy P. Cahill, an independent gubernatorial candidate, said he would stop airing the taxpayer funded advertisements.
A spokesman for the Massachusetts State Lottery Commission said the ads would cease by last night, adding that the process for killing a major ad campaign took some time. The lottery said the ads could not have been stopped immediately

Some upset with Pennsylvania Lottery broadcast
Pittsburghers who watch the nightly lottery drawings have been losing a little sleep lately, though it's not because of big jackpot jitters.
When the multi-state Mega Millions debuted Feb. 2 in Pennsylvania, state lotto officials asked television stations statewide to broadcast it in the same time slot as the Powerball drawing, which airs Wednesdays and Saturdays.
Instead of squeezing the Mega Millions into the familiar 10:59 p.m. time slot Tuesdays and Fridays, Pennsylvania Lottery offici
