Mary Eisenband finds it fun to buy lottery tickets.
The 82-year-old Union, New Jersey, woman never found it more enjoyable than when she bought a scratch-off lottery ticket in North Carolina in November while en route to Georgia to visit family.

Ohio Lottery to sell $30 ticket that offers a chance to win $10 million
To celebrate its 40th anniversary, the Ohio Lottery will debut a $30 instant scratch-off ticket on Thursday.
The ticket for 40th Anniversary Millions is the most expensive and offers the largest instant prize in Ohio Lottery history.
Five $10 million prizes and 35 $1 million prizes will be awarded.
The lottery began with the Buckeye 300, a weekly drawing. Today, it is operating racinos, is involved in multi-state lotteries and offers instant games, draw games, EZPLAY games, and KENO.

A Bluffton, South Carolina, woman nearly threw away $250,000.
She was cleaning her car more than a month ago when she noticed a lottery ticket she had purchased at the Publix on Buckwalter Place Boulevard. She thought the ticket, which was stuffed under the seat, was worthless.
Before tossing it out, she marked off a few unscratched numbers and realized she'd hit the jackpot: $250,000 on a $250 Grand ticket.

Man thought he scratched a $1,000 prize, really won $100,000
David Lane thought he'd won $1,000 with an Oregon Lottery Cash Flurries Scratch-it ticket.
He filled out his claim form and mailed the ticket off to Lottery headquarters in Salem.
