A married couple from Melbourne Beach, Florida, have claimed their one-third share of the world's biggest lottery jackpot of all time.
Although the prize money was claimed under a trust, the winners identified themselves in a press conference Wednesday afternoon as David Kaltschmidt, 55, and Maureen Smith, 70.

With $63M jackpot expiring today, Calif. Lottery sued by owner of damaged ticket
A man who claims he purchased the winning $63 million SuperLotto Plus ticket purchased in Chatsworth has taken legal action to be declared the winner as lottery officials continue their search for a last-minute winner.

Georgia Lottery winner killed during home invasion

A Fitzgerald, Georgia, man who recently won a nearly half-million dollar Georgia lottery jackpot was murdered overnight Thursday during a home invasion robbery.

A Tennessee couple that won a share of the $1.6 billion Powerball jackpot says they plan to return to their jobs after winning the mammoth prize.
