Lottery heartbreak: Florida man says he lost $500,000 ticket
Florida Lottery security officials have opened an investigation into the case of a 69-year-old Wellington man who lost a scratch-off ticket worth $500,000.
But it's too early to tell if Louis Tolentino will get the money.
They have begun an investigation, but there's nothing conclusive at this time, said Laurie Wright, spokeswoman for The Florida Lottery.
Tolentino is behind on his mortgage. His maintenance payments are past due. Medical bills are mounting.

Mother of two wants to open her own restaurant
An Austell, Georgia, Waffle House waitress, who won the half-million dollar top prize in the $500,000 Monopoly instant game, is considering opening a restaurant with her winnings.
Autumn Laney, 26 and a mother of two, purchased her winning ticket while making a stop at Quick Pick Food Store on Six Flags Drive.

Titans, Tenn. Lottery team up for new instant game
Count the Titans among the NFL teams partnering with state lotteries.
The Titans and the Tennessee Lottery will announce their partnership today. The deal gives lottery players an opportunity to win prizes including season tickets, cash up to $100,000 and team memorabilia.

Ohio Lottery signs up two NFL teams for branded games
With the signing of partnership agreements with the Ohio Lottery, the Cincinnati Bengals and Cleveland Browns have become the sixth and seventh National Football League (NFL) teams to sign up to launch a limited number of team-branded lottery scratchcards through their state-sponsored lottery.

A Massachusetts man won $1,000 and $1 million dollars from two scratch-off lottery tickets on the same day.
Phillip Brunelle, 29, of Fall River, said he was so excited about winning $1,000 on a scratch-off ticket at a convenience store that he decided to return to the store later to buy another $5 Money Mania ticket, WCVB-TV, Boston, reported Monday.

Washington Lottery-Seahawks team up on scratch game
Washington's Lottery is rolling out a scratch-off ticket with the Seattle Seahawks, now that the NFL owners have agreed to allow team logos to be used on lottery tickets.

An Alpharetta salesman, a former HOPE scholarship recipient and a grandmother are some of recent Georgia lottery winners.
