People, in marriage, stay happy because they want to stay happy. If you are not interested in being happy, and that happiness is not based on making your mate happy, bail out NOW. You wait until you win to get a divorce, and you can kiss 50% of all money goodbye, I don't care what state you live in. There are threads after threads of losers who waited too long. I have been happily divorced for 30-years. Hopefully, that length of time will keep be safe from the vengeful mate.

After reading all the posts to this topic I have to say that the wife and I, like normal marriages, have our ups and downs. To answer the question if I would leave her....no way at all. We have talked about too many dreams and wants that we want to get for the family and ourselves to even think about seperating.

That is great to hear.

If you can be together through the hard times, looks like it would be easier to remain together through the good.

There are people envy your relationship I bet. I know there are lots who envy mine and hubby's.

I would have say I was blessed with two great marriages. The first ended with death. I am truly blessed to have found another soulmate. I just hope I don't out live this one.

Tntea you forgot you told us in another post that you wouldn't have put your first husband on anybody but here you'll saying it was wonderful. Just like you denied that you didn't call a special needs child "a fat slob.
