Something I do is the abundance check on the New moon night. I write a check to me. And on the box of the amount I write PAID IN FULL. I write on the dollar line paid in full again.

And sign LAW of the Abundance. I then keep them in a place and forget about them. But some people burn the one before, once the next new moon comes around.

For me this exercise rewards me with all kinds of abundance. Not just money.. reminders, surprises and good cheer.

ON the new moon, I write my 10 wishes..(48 hours to do this)

On a notebook.. One per page I write a wish - and only 10.

come the next new moon - I do it again. It's fun.

I would like to say that there is magic in the number eight. I just seen this post about noon.I wrote my number eight and put in in my wallet. I had played my pick three numbers before seeing this post.And wow I did, I did hit the pick 3 for 50 str8.I will keep my number 8 in my wallet, and my new lucky charm just got on saturday!! I want my luck to keep coming. get it while I can!!!

Use powerful candle magic to keep your family safe!

The empowerment of the burning candle can protect your home, keeping your loved ones safe within a circle of security.

The candle flame casts an aura of protection that banishes dark forces of evil and draws safeguarding light.

All you need are taper candles, essential oil, and incense, available at any supermarket or drugstore.

Choose two candles. The first should be a color that reminds you of happy times. (Maybe you might like to refer to the beginning of this thread re: colors). This candle opens up spiritual portals that usher positive energy into your home. Consider green for harmony, blue for peace, or yellow for optimism.

The secibnd candle will repel evil, prevent hexes, defelct danger and steer away the criminal element. This candle must be black.

You'll also need essential oil. The woodsy scent of sandalwood is ideal because of its remarkable ability to chase away evil. You can substitute orange or lemon oil.

Finally, you will need incense in a light floral scent such as rose or in classical nag champa.

Gather your supplies then place a small table in the center of your house. Clean it well to remove any lingering energies.

Light the incense and put it on the table.

When the incense fills your home with pleasant fragrance, inscribe your and your famikly members' initials into the candle.

Rub a little essential oil onto the candle, and place it in a holder on the table.

Light the candle and say three times, "This flame lights my home with safety and hop. It is a fortress immune to outaide influence, where no evildoers may enter. No harm may come to those who live within these four walls."

Place the black candle in a holder on the table and light it while saying, "Danger, turn away! Evil, flee! Discord, leave! Only love and trust may pass by this flame!"

Let the candles burn undisturbed for nine minutes. Repeat the ceremony daily until the candles are completely burned down. Then bury the remains outside your doorstep, where they will continue to work their magic to secure your home.

Thanks for sharing Cointoss, I almost always have a candle of some sort lit, but my Black candles are household staples.

Sage can be used to cleanse the home.

now I have some etching spells with candles, you can use votives with the same oils and herbs.

For money you can draw dollars signs in the wax, with please and thank you. you can use Green , gold, yellow , silver or white. when the candle is burned out bury it.

For protection, you can carve evil away evil away, use Black or white candle. bury it

For Love, you can carve a heart and the persons name into the pink candle bury it

Breaking bad habits or healing, carve you wish or desire into the candle. bury it.

Essential Oils vs Fragrance Oils

What is the difference between essential oils and fragrance oils?

This question is frequently posed by those new to aromatherapy and herbalism. There is a lot of debate surrounding this subject. Fragrance oils and genuine essential oils have many similarities but they also differ in fundamental ways.

Genuine essential oils are pure distillations of a flowers, herbs, roots, or resins that have not been cut with any kind of carrier oil. These oils are often expensive, and they are prized for their potent fragrances as well as their medicinal benefits. Plants and the essential oils derived from them contain alleochemicals-chemicals that have affects on the human body. Sometimes these effects are good and sometimes they are bad depending on the plant matter used. This is why it is particularly important to familiarize yourself with the herbs and oils that you use. Those new to the art should take the time to use additional resources, and speak with their doctor before using any herbal preparation that they are not familiar with. Some of the prized effects of certain essential oils are: skin and hair softening, skin moisturizing, rash / eczema / psoriasis relief, youthful looking rejuvenation, anxiety dissipation, tension relief, stress relief, pain relief, migraine relief, and enhancement of overall feeling of well being.

Essential oils have drawbacks as well as benefits. Many essential oils are incredibly expensive - an example of this is Rose Otto essential oil. It is said that it takes a thousand Rose petals to make a mere drop of this oil. A fluid ounce costs, on average, $200 dollars. The pure scent of the oil is heavenly, and a small amount of the oil will go a long way. However, the expense is something that few can afford to indulge on a regular basis. This reason alone is often enough for many people to choose fragrance oils which are much less expensive.

Another drawback of some essential oils is that both their quality and scent varies depending on the crop. Essential oils can also vary by region due to variations in the plant matter used, conditions grown in, etc. This makes it difficult for craft makers to keep their finished products consistent. For people simply making items for personal use this is not usually significant unless the person is very particular about their fragrances, but for crafters making items for sale this can pose a very large problem. Many crafters opt for fragrance oils instead to keep their finished product consistent.

Finally sometimes an essential oil that smells really good, is not so good for health if the plant matter is poisonous or an irritant to the human body. This extremely limits the oils aromatherapy applications. Fragrance oils provide a way to avoid any unpleasant side effects of but still benefit from the scent of normally dangerous, or irritating herbs.

Those characteristics: the definition, benefits, and disadvantages of essential oils along with information about why fragrance oils are a viable alternative are a good start but its important to define what a Fragrance oil is. Fragrance oils are almost always synthetic; they do not contain the true floral essence so their contribution to aromatherapy is simply fragrance. Some fragrance oils aren't synthetic, these oils are blends of essential oils cut with a carrier oil. If you plan to use fragracne oilsfor crafting incense, bath and body products, etc. it is important to use concentrated, synthetic oils. Fragrance oils that are really essential / carrier oil blends have been diluted too much and their scent is not strong enough to be used for crafting purposes. Save the essential / carrier oils blend for use directly on the skin, hair, or candles.

Finally, fragrance oils are beneficial even though they are synthetic because their aroma can help encourage peace of mind, and alleviate the blues. However, they are never to be taken internally unlike genuine pure essential oils. They are also much more affordable with the average person being able to use some every day. Ultimately whether a fragrance or essential oil is appropriate depends on the application, and the crafters or user's budget.

Especially in the case of Essential Oils, you get what you pay for. There are rarely any bargains. Cheaper versions are created with extenders that tend to produce less-than-desirable results. Choices containing alcohol should be avoided. They are known to cause soap seizing and curdling and these fragrances will dissipate more quickly.

Safety Precautions for Using Essential Oils and Fragrance Oils

If you follow a few safety tips for Essential Oils and Fragrance Oils, you should encounter no problems.
- Keep away from children
- Always read and follow all label warnings. They will be different for different oils.
- Keep oils tightly closed, stored in a dark, cool area to preserve fragrance.
- Never consume these oils unless specifically approved as a food.
- Don't use undiluted oils on your skin; they may be diluted with vegetable oils (known as carrier oils); don't use water.
- Skin test oils before using. Dilute a small amount with vegetable oil and apply to the skin on your inner, upper arm. Your skin will tell you within 8 hours if you have an allergy to certain oils appearing red or irritated.
- When using these oils on your skin, avoid exposure to the sun or tanning beds.
- Keep oils away from eyes and mucous membranes, use externally only. If eye or membrane contact is made, flush with water.
- Do not use during pregnancy except with physician's approval.
- Oils known to be irritating to some skin are: allspice, basil, bitter
  almond, cinnamon, clove, fir needle, lemon, lemongrass, melissa, peppermint, sweet fennel, tea tree, wintergreen.
- Epileptics should avoid these products.
- People with high blood pressure should avoid hyssop, rosemary, sage,
  and thyme.

This would add a couple more numbers. 121 592

each time i think about candles it brings me joy and peace ! Shoop am gonna go to the store and buy some candles to burn in my house !!
