So when you say simple regression, do you mean to say what the root sum in question has brought following or before it in the past ?
For ex. the last few times root sum 8 appeared it was preceded by 1,4 on one occasion, 7,3 on another, and 4,7 on another.
It was followed by 6,7 on one occasion, then 5,6 on another, and 1,6 on another.
In conclusion, if 7 has not appeared already, it would be next. If 6 has not appeared, it would be likely, as would 4 or 1 as the least.
This would be recent trend, could be affected by what happens most often as an average?
