  $34,680,000   will be my check after Federal and State taxes ( Arkansas ) are with held

   

  My wife will get 50%...........($17,340,000  )

  I and my 4 adult children will get 10% ( $3,468,000)

  They withhold 25% for federal taxes. However, you will owe another 14.6% to the taxman.

  Yes, but I won't owe anymore until after I file in the following year.

  The site I use gives what your actual check will be ( cash option) for every state that participates.

   

  Now , this Saturday a resident of my state would get    a check for $42,432,000

  A winner in California would get $46,800,000

  (there is no state tax on lottery winnings in California )

  Yes indeed!

  I am sure by the following spring when I actually file taxes that I will have enough left of my PowerBall winnings to easily  pay any additional amount of taxes due.
