Hello,

I am looking for a software tool, not a predictor (I believe tools are supposed to make the job easier, not do it for me)

My philosophy is as follows:

We have in every game, plenty of real data from the past draws (draw history) to look for patterns. These patterns change slightly as time goes by and new drawing data is added to the mix. Staying on top of the current data analysis is necessary so small changes can be made to the pay numbers if need. This requires running an analysis process frequently.

A very abbreviated example of my process is from the Texas Cash Five lottery is 5 numbers drawn from 35. It is currently at 5900 drawings since 1995, plenty of data to look for patterns. I would like to purchase software that would let me import all 5900 drawing results as a csv or text file, then run analysis (filters) for sum, odd/even, pairs, primes, etc., etc., etc. to discover patterns, then import the top 15 most frequently drawn numbers, run a calculator to return all the possible combinations, (3003), then apply the analysis patterns gleaned from analyzing the historical draws, to come up with a set of numbers to play from the most frequently drawn numbers data.

I have been running a simplified version of this philosophy using excel formulas & macros with help from a combinations calculator at planet calc, with very good success. I would like to test it on a larger scale, but my process is very clunky and time consuming, so I would like to know if anyone is aware a software program or if necessary, several programs that can accomplish what I have described?

In Florida it's about 376,000 to 1 for a JP with 1 ticket.

That's about 376 times harder than trying to win a straight in the Pick-3 game.

For PB, that's like almost ??,??? times harder....

Try your knowledge on the Pick-3 first, then work your way up my friend. P-3 is only 1 in a 1,000. Master that, and I couldn't pay you enough to teach me because you wouldn't even need my money...lol

Everyone has to crawl before they walk.

Nevertheless, I hope you find someone and maybe even win the JP, or lower tier prizes, who knows?

Thank you amber123 for the advice. Do you use a software program to help pick the best number combinations for 5 & 6 number drawings?

I have started using Lucky's software here on the site for Pick 3. My system does not work well for pick 3 and 4, but after two days using Lucky's system, Im in the black.

No, my whole objective was to suggest starting with the Pick-3 game first before tackling the big games, ones in the millions.

Pick-3 JP straight win is 1 in 1,000. Pick 3 numbers between 0-9. Example: 719. If you picked 719 str8 for a buck bet, you win 500 bucks. Do that on a relatively consistent basis, and only then tackle the Pick-4 game...1 in 10,000...step up your game...etc...

For what you described, Excel is sufficient.

For what you described, Excel is sufficient.

You might want to look at Gail Howards program that is what I use It will do lot of stuff and you can even download data base you like I think you can try it before you buy it

I did a quick Open Office spreadsheet if it helps. I imported Texas 537 drawings. To keep safety concerns to a minimum, I didn't use any macros. You can sort the number/hit count rows on your own. I also did not do any calculations on which set(s) of the Hot 15 Wheel to use, so again, you can add that as needed.

Hi Dylan:

How about lotwin. It offers tons of filters(and you can even create your own), and the amount of past draw data you can import for your lottery is almost unlimited. Google it.

Perceiving is more than seeing, the above statement is not true projecting into the future. The so called historical patterns has already happened, you saw it when it already occurred. A classical quiz at DMV for driving test " do you see with your eye or the mind'? to see is to be aware of what's around by your senses(eye, could different for the blind). I 'll rather simulate the 5,900 data based on a game matrix and generated unknown patterns based on my assumption. Perception from this assumption is more cognitive for better prediction.
