  I believe it works like this:

  For the draw of 697
  6+9+7(draw) = 22 (sum)
  2 + 2(sum) = 4 (root)

  middle width of 2 is the difference (Delta2) between the second lowest digit(7) and highest digit(9)

  Whilst analyzing and righting down some grid patterns I noticed one recurring set. 

  The sum this time 4 and is on top off the next draw 7-3-0 in multiple places

  4/ 7-0-3

  4/ 7-0

  4/ 7

  Here is another one with a little twist.

  The sum is 5, 814 is below the 5 in multiple places.

  The next draw is 8-5-1 so this time the sum 5 becomes part of the draw and 5 is also a following number.

  Johne, I notice not all rows and columns are visible in your grid and you have horizontal and vertical scrollbars for your grid. Is your computer using larger than normal text size?

  I coded the program to use the Courier New (size 14) font in place of the default Windows GUI font. I think if I make an option to use the default GUI font, things should look better for those using a setting that is greater than the 100% font size.

  I think the ideal behind this thread is ' pattern recognition'. The set-up of the game ensures ' changing  patterns', by the time the pattern is observed, the event has already occurred. I see folks trying to justified a particular pattern/hit after the numbers are drawn(working from known answer to initial assumption is not good predictable approach !).We all known the brain does pattern recognition,  the eyes does not analysis, what the eye observes can be illusion.The closest one can get to the ' prior-observation state' is set assumptions and conditions to ' generate patterns'.

  Sorry adobea, Most of us user here do not have a clue what you mean. I wish we did but we don't.

   

  Back to the chart. Sum is zero-0.  7 times 3-6-9 falls under the zero.

  Which gives you 0-3-6 and 3-6-9

  Next draw 6-0-3

  All this is after the fact but something to keep an eye on.

  I am currently working on the statistical aspect of the grid, which should shed some light on pattern characteristics. Hope to have something ready for the weekend.
