RL, as I already spoke, in my country there are only number games. I very much wish to test NGS. It is possible to receive it?

Hi notmyday,

I believe all bets in California Lottery Daily 3 and Daily 4 cost $1 each, regardless of whether the bet is straight, straight/box, or box. If frenchie had played straight/box, then he would have won something--I think half of a box bet.

That's what I would do--play straight/box to (hopefully) win funds and play straight when I am really confident about my picks. Sure, winning on a straight/box returns less than a straight, but a net plus is always better than a net loss, and there will be more wins when playing straight/box compared to playing only straights.

I thought all lotteries had a 50 Cent version of their tickets but California is different I guess.

Yep, the California Lottery is different... Not only do we not have $0.50 bets (which limits our playing strategies), the prize amounts for all games are also pari-mutuel (so we don't have fixed prize amounts and the prize amounts can end up lower than other states--especially five-of-five number matches in Mega Millions and Powerball)...

Hi RL,

A new kind of analysis (requiring fewer choices) would benefit NG Slider, but as you mentioned before, hitting the top prize basically amounts to hitting a pick-3 straight and a pick-4 straight at the same time--which sounds daunting to me, but I think the odds might be better than winning a pick-5 (I could be wrong though since I haven't done the calculations), so some expert daily game players might be able to do it.

I haven't had much time to really get into daily games or Slider-II, but other folks might be able to come up with new ideas or analyses if they get their hands on NG Slider. After all, Slider-II has only been out (for us) for a few weeks, so it's still "new" to us and we've just scratched the surface on analysis and using it. Just like with DMP, Steps, lexies, Slider, Rogue-Flip, Slider-II, some people might be better at using one of those than the others, so it would be nice to be able to try out NG Slider and see how we fare with it. After all, prize distribution comparisons with T-Lex and Rogue-13 is a moot point if the user hits that five-of-five number match!

You all was guessing saying it was predicting. Instead of guessing every draw its best to wait for couple of setting combos that have good frequency and haven’t hit in a while. Like in hillbilly953 post: 27, 25 in the first 2 columns. Play the settings after they missed a couple of draws. Ply them for the next draws because they’ll hit for sure.

Anyhow just guessing makes the Slider a better random generator than the QPs. The qps repeat the last draw or repeat the combos sometimes. A controlled generator is better than any QP as people showed in the discussion forum

that's back to back hits st here in mi.midday to midday All you all got to do is what w=me and OMJ are doing tweeking the sets little at a time,look for missing digits and keys that it simple as 123 . What I tell OMJ this morning on the phone what digits I was missing , now down to the 7 so I up date and see if there is a str.for me tonight.

Been wondering why nothing seems to be working with the slider 2 so I was looking at the dump file to see what I could see when I noticed some irregularities in the numbers so I checked the database file for the first time and I was surprised to see all the dates mixed up. All the way back to 10/08/16 just all jumbled up.

Is that the way it's supposed to be????

I had the same problem. Here's how I corrected it. I deleted everythang from my computer. I repeat.... delete everythang. Then get toothbrush and scrub it all out. That includes c-drive, desktop downloaded sliderII copies etc. Then hit Ccleaner and make sure everythang is gone.

Then and only then go and download the newer download. Install, then before opening right click properties. After opening properties click compatibility and run program by checking on the correct computer ie 7/8/10 then click run as administrator hit apply then OK.

I haven't had ne problems since.

The NGS won't be released at least for now as it's all I can do to keep up with the Slider-II.

I also don't have databases for it and trying to work the bugs out of two programs that are

so similar could spell disaster. Because they are so similar it's easy to get them mixed up as

I often just copy and paste code from one to the other when making edits. I have spent

most of my free time for the last several days fixing Slider-II. I rewrote the date calculator

to fix the leap-year problem, changed the way the blue slides are calculated to prevent them

from ever reaching 1. I fixed the automated recovery option, at least I hope it's fixed along

several other small bugs. I still can't find the reason the program crashes at odd times. It may

due to a memory leak in one of the dll files but so far that's just a guess.

I guess I could write it off as some sort of user error but that always seems to come back and

bite me on the ass.

I have another project coming up around the end of the month which will require all my bandwidth

so most if not all the links for slider-II will be deleted around that time. I should have most if not all

the bugs worked out of Slider-II before then but it's kind of stressful when I have limited time and

can't find the problem. I think I have slept around 4 hours in the last 3 days. Adding another program

to the mix right now, not enough of me left to do it.
