Note in the above chart that 123 is *starred but not highlighted. This is slightly misleading because it turns out that combos of 123 are definitely in the top tiers of the All-States 7-Day workup even though 123 straight has not fallen in the past seven days. The relevant chart looks like this:
Tier 5
132(231,231,231,321)
Whether or not to include 123 is sort of a judgement call, however I have to admit that mostly it is a matter of convenience because finding every combo of every workup number in the 7-Day chart is time-consuming and this part of of the workup generally isn't an issue. Today, however, there is a complicating factor. Long story, but the idea behind the layout of my chart above is to make it possible for a person with a cell-phone to see at-a-glance on a single screen the entire historical chart for the next draw. To accomplish this, I leave out a lot of detail. The actual chart that my program spits out is about 1300 lines long. It's a handful, to say the least, not exactly light reading. And it's about as cell-phone unfriendly as it can be.
One of the items of detail that gets left out is whether a backcheck is a really great backcheck or just a so-so backcheck. Same deal with the Sync workup hits. I have all that detail in front of me and, once in a while, I see a reason to pick out a number. Really rarely do I see a workup like the one for 123 today. Almost everything about it is unusual. The fact is that only a technicality prevents it from being highlighted and then it would be way more obvious from my little chart that it's an interesting number for the Day draw today (and maybe even for tonight).
There's more, too, as there is something else interesting about 123 in the Followers, but you get the idea.
In the morning, I am going to run out the door screaming to play 123. It may not win, but it would be one heckuva story if it did. If it does, I'll make a separate thread about it and post up all the details. In the meanwhile...
Good Luck!!!
