Whew... I looked at that one by hand last night but didn't see it falling. Here is the chart for what is now a rare triple-sync (almost a quad) hit:
Dudes, I have to confess, I missed one here. Some of you have heard me say this before, but here is a perfect example that I missed last night when I was vetting these.
What this chart shows is the synchronizations in time between the leader number 695 and the follower number 008. It happened twice at 31 days in 2002 and 1991. Those are charted in the third and fourth columns below. But then it missed by one day. That's the marker! That's what tells you that another of these syncs, this time at the original number of days apart) is coming pretty soon. This sounds confusing until you see it charted, I know, so check the chart below and and feel free to ask questions if it isn't clear what happened.

That's how a I made a bunch of money back in the day, following workup charts exactly like this. That's why I went to all the trouble to write a program to tease these out of the historical data. Wouldn't it be nice if this workup is going to get hot again? Don't hold your breath..
