He got DUI then want to jail. After that he got DUI 2nd time. That alot of jail time for 2nd time. That what I think.

Of course, I never really knew the man other than from what he wrote in here - or to me- but he never struck me as someone who would drink and drive.

No, I figure he usually would have a glass or two of his favorite poison while sitting in front of the TV, then falling asleep during "Duck Dynasty"...or maybe even something more "high brow" such as "Masterpiece Theater". ( but probably not that. That's on PBS, after all.) I suspect his claim of being a heavy drinker was exaggerated the same as was his "hillbilly" persona in here. His p.m.'s to me were much different than his posts.

Just curious; what did he slap you down for? You come across as hateful and bitter about Ridge.

I got a 1.75 Liter right here and the price tag is $42.99 and then you gotta add tax. Might have to get a fifth.

But wouldn't that point more towards him drinking at home instead of bar hopping? JMHO, that's all. Hell, he might have been his town's version of Otis in Mayberry, who knows? He just didn't strike me that way.

Funny how he used the metric sizing for the larger size then the old measurement for the 750ml. Must have been drunk. <grin>

I know quite a bit about booze from not only having a dad who drank to excess but also from working in a liquor store while I went back to school some years ago. The main thing I learned from working in the store was that stuff is to sell, not to drink.

In Tennessee, a DUI Requires a Motor Vehicle
In certain parts of the country, you can receive a DUI / DWI for operating any kind of vehicle – including a bicycle. In Tennessee, however, DUIs are exclusive to motorized vehicles. This includes:

Riding a lawnmower
Riding a motorcycle
Riding a moped
Driving a car or truck
Riding a scooter
Driving an ATV
Driving a golf cart
So while having too many drinks and riding a skateboard home is a poor choice, it is not technically illegal. You could, however, be charged with being drunk in public or with a drunk and disorderly if your behavior warrants such a charge, but you cannot receive a DUI.

Before you play there are 2 choices to make. Low sum or high sum and consecutive pair or no consecutive pair. Choose correctly and you go from 120 combos down to 30. Not a bad starting point.

I said I could see why keepitreal was assuming alcohol was possibly the reason. The only assumption I'll make is that when someone averages 4 posts a day for six years and abruptly stops, something happened and they probably won't be back.

Another LP member told me they "knew for a fact what happened", but like I told kir, "don't believe everything you read on the Internet".
