If you're in a nursing home you probably aren't going anywhere. So the only ones bringing it in are the staff or family visitors. We have a place here in Md., 95 people between staff and residents. 81 have tested positive, 17 residents have died. That was a week ago. Not good...

When playing the lottery the thing that should matter the most is: Are you winning more than you spend? Good Luck!!!

Had a nursing home worker here that tested positive and still tried to work. After being fired, they refused to stay home and now is wearing a monitor. Read where South Dakota of all places is becoming a "hot spot". There was no social distancing order or suggestion there.

Let's hope it doesn't get much worse before it gets better.

That's Chinese Communist Party propaganda. The CCP is taking advantage of internet conspiracy theory culture to push narratives that place the blame on others.

The Wuhan Institute of Virology is a Chinese gov't lab that operates under the auspices of the Chinese gov't; it can't be funded by foreign entities like a private lab can be. Saying the US gov't funds it is like saying the Chinese gov't funds the CDC's satellite campus in Fort Collins.

There is so much misinformation, we need an hourly updated COVID-19 fact checking site. Can't find any real info on how person could know if they were infected but not showing any symptoms. I still haven't found how they determine the difference between "confirmed" and "infected" case. In most states the tests are still only for people with fevers, headaches, chills, and other related symptoms.

As for how it started, I'm not buying it was from eating pangolins bought illegally in an open air food market. All the Online speculations are helping to confuse the facts too. Without quoting sources, I'm not believing anyone.

Stay home and stay safe.

The pangolins got a pass, not guilty. I saw the part about our funding the lab study on Tucker who does a pretty good job of getting things right. Not a big fan of any of the channels, they all make stuff up or lie by omission. He cut the CDC budget they screech. No, he raised the CDC budget. Actually he cut the next year's rate of increase. Say every year their budget goes up a million, and he cuts that in half, so it is cut for next year and raised too.

While back on this thread I posted the article on the Spanish Flu victims doing better with fresh air and sunshine versus those in stuffy wards. Today there was an article they just studied and rediscovered what we already knew. Little wonder we're doomed.

All l know is that l am waiting for the President to order the States to open up for business. He did say he will call the shots. You're just a couple days behind the times. Yes the story was labeled "debunked" even though no actual debunking took place. No, Chinese Communist Party propaganda usually falls apart with an oops when pushed on us by network TV. The report is based on two year old reports from our diplomats in China who visited and warned the Wuhan Virus Lab had such lax standards it was dangerous. The U.S. and Canada had been funding their research, yes it is a Chinese Government Lab researching Corona virus we were collaborating on with them donating millions, supposedly we pulled out and Canada continued payments up until the recent virus escape. While I don't entertain conspiracy theories and engage a strong BS filter when listening to news, it does make a certain sense as the bats with the virus live over 600 miles from Wuhan while the virus lab is 6 miles from the wet market the CCP blamed, yet have allowed it to reopen. The story is now expanding on real media so just keep your eyes and ears open.

I have been hearing from friends that say they got sick with symptoms similar to Covid-19 in late December. They said that if was a dry cough and a fever that knocked them down for about 4 Days. I also saw a Facebook Post on a Local Community Group that someone was even hospitalized and recovered from what was called then an “unknown” virus. What they actually had will not be known unless a serum test is given and antibodies discovered match Covid-19.

California reported its first case in late January. I Live in Placer County in Northern California. So far, we have only had 130 Confirmed Cases and 8 Deaths. I think it is possible that the Virus got here about a month before the first case was confirmed. The only question that I asked was “how did you not give it to someone” given the way it spread after the first case. The answer is most likely they did but the people they gave it to have been a symptomatic.

Our County Health Official is getting some push back on some her restrictions. Landscaping Services have been deemed non essential and Golf Courses are not allowed to let people walk and play the course even though both are naturally social distancing activities. I already live in a Nanny State and that Nanny is getting bigger and more powerful every day.
