Today there is an "also ran" Sync number, 775, that has three of the four markers I look for in a Sync number. For one number to have all four markers is a lot to ask, so it's a very rare thing, but three markers is still interesting.
The three markers this number shows are 1) Three exact syncs. 2) One off-by-one-day sync. 3) Back-to-back Leader/Follower of the pair of sync numbers.
At this point, you can reasonably ask, What the heck else do you want? Right? But the fourth marker, which this sync does not have, is 4) The first jump back in time for the target number should also be the first sync, what I call a "one-hop" sync because it falls one hop back in time. That didn't happen here (rats!), but this chart nicely shows the other three markers.

So close being a "perfect" sync number. I might still play it, especially in the Night draw if we happen to get a 775 leader in the Day draw:

P.S. Folks with eagle eyes may have noticed the little "bonus" third column I added which has a correctly distanced leader follower on the 775 and a combo of 375, 573. You couldn't make this stuff up. Nobody would believe it...
The more I look at it, the more shocking it is. It's really funny that we have both those combos of 061/601 in the current column. Dang!
