Welcome to the FF5 thread. Sorry I didn't see your post sooner. I haven't read this forum in a while!
I mostly like to play FF5 due to it's 376,992 to 1 odds to win a jackpot. That's still long odds against you, but they're a whole lot better than Mega Millions or PowerBall's! I sometimes buy tickets for the FF5 midday drawing, but more typically I buy them for the evening draw because the evening jackpot is usually twice the size of the midday jackpot. When I win a Free Ticket, sometimes I'll use it during the midday drawing.
As for JPT, I do play the game, but usually only when the jackpot is one million dollars or more. Right now the jackpot is at $375,00 so I wont be buying any JPT tickets for a while yet. Whenever I do buy JPT, I also buy JPT's "Combo" option which increases the cost to two dollars per line as opposed to one dollar per line on your ticket. Experience has taught me that I get more small winners doing that
Here's tip for you, #28 in FF5 has been on fire this year. It's the hottest number of the year (since 1/1/2024) with 112 hits as of last night. (that includes both daily and evening drawings) The next closest number to #28 is #25 with 100 hits in 2024. I expect #28 to hit about 120 times in 2024 so there are more hits for it coming down the pipe. In the last 730 FF5 drawings (a "rolling" one year's worth of draws) #28 leads the way with 126 hits. All time #28 is ranked second with 1181 hits since FF5 began. Every year one number will rise to the top and have the most hits in a calendar year, and that never fails. (Last year it was #22 with 94 hits.) I can usually tell by July 1st of any given year what number will have the most hits per year, so I gave that number heavy play after July 1st whenever I buy FF5 tickets.
It's early November, and the following FF5 numbers have yet to hit in November - 1,2,3,5,7,9,11,12,14,16,17,18,21,23,25,26,31,32,33,34,& 36. Given that all 36 of FF5's numbers hit at least one time in any given calendar month (although there have been months where a number will sit out an entire calendar month but that rarely happens) you'll likely see numbers from that list begin to come out soon. Usually by mid-month all 36 FF5 have been drawn at least once.
Good luck to you! FF5 is a nice game, you wont win a life changing jackpot playing it, but it'd sure be nice for me if I collected $120,000 by wining a FF5 jackpot. I've never won a jackpot of any kind anywhere I've lived, and I've played the lottery for years. I do it mostly for fun/entertainment, and I like to use my copy of Gail Howard's lottery software to "give me an edge", if there is such a thing as an "edge" playing the lottery. I bet with my head and NEVER over it, and I NEVER bet more than I can afford to lose. I'm no high roller, a ten dollar FF5 ticket is a big costing ticket for me, and I might buy one of those one or two times per week. Take care, hope to see you here again soon! G5
