There are 220 combos to start every year. By my count, we have 114 left to go, so we are almost halfway done. AFAIK, we've never hit all the combos in a calendar year. It's really tough to hit the trips because they are all 1-Way combos so the odds of hitting each one are 1:1000. You never know what's going to happen though, so stay tuned...
I was thinking about the above chart and wondered where we stand relative to the other 2-draw-a-day states. My program does this report for every state every day so I compiled all the results to see what's what. Remember, this is a count of how many combos have NOT yet hit in calendar year 2021.
Illinois - 102 New York - 102 California - 107 Florida - 107 Kentucky - 107 New Mexico - 108 Maryland - 108 Pennsylvania - 108 Ontario - 109 Michigan - 109 Kansas - 109 North Carolina - 109 South Carolina - 111 Connecticut - 112 Colorado - 112 Virginia - 112 Arkansas - 113 Missouri - 113 Puerto Rico - 114 Wash D.C. - 114 Ohio - 115 Idaho - 116 Delaware - 117 Iowa/Indiana - 119 Tri-States - 121 New Jersey - 122
The median and the average are both about 111.5 and Virginia is right there at 112. So we are pretty much having an average year compared to our peers. OTOH, What is up with New Jersey? They have 122 un-hit combos. That means so far this calendar year they have been throwing a lot of repeats. At the other end of the spectrum, Illinois and New York and have been throwing very few repeats this year so they have been chewing through the combos like crazy. Again, Virginia is pretty much exactly in the middle between those polar opposites.
One other oddball thing I see is Delaware and South Carolina. Those states only draw once on Sundays so they don't have as many total drawings as, Virginia, for example. For that reason, you might expect both DE and SC to have more un-hit combos than Virginia. Not so! South Carolina actually has fewer un-hit combos than Virginia. And Puerto Rico doesn't draw at all on Sunday yet they are about mid-pack in the chart, despite the fact that you would expect them have have way more un-hit combos. Shows you how capricious random numbers are...

I definitely didn't have it, but I was thinking after the million dollar payouts on the Pick 3 and Pick 4 last night. They would start running high numbers that have lower payouts. And 659 fits the bill. More high numbers to come and I see a streak of numbers with O.
