I hope I didn't discourage you. That was not my intention. Because my family strictly controls my lottery money budget, I don't have the opportunity to actually play like many folks do. Therefore I constantly look for rare and magical events in the numbers and spend my meager budget on them hoping to catch a miracle play. And, speaking of rare and magical events in the numbers, I've had an idea in the back of my mind ever since you started this thread way back when. Way back in 1996, there was a rare and magical run of numbers in the Virginia lottery which was quite unlike anything I had noticed before. Here is the entire run:

Just look at that! There are 3 sets of straight repeats including the first and last day being a straight repeat. There are 2 trips, 666 & 999. There is the hard-to-miss Day-Night pair 151,159. There is a back-to-back combo repeat in 352-523. And it ends with every lottery executive's nightmare number, 007! I was enchanted and hooked. I looked at those 38 numbers and thought the draws would run forever like that.

As with all good things, it came to an end and I moved on. But when Mississippi started up their lottery, I thought, maybe something interesting like that will happen in this new lottery. And then I probably had some other thought like, What's for Lunch? And forgot all about it. Today, I was researching something unrelated and stumbled on a reminder about the above amazing run of numbers and the idea came back to me. This idea is stupid simple lottery magical thinking at its worst, but here it is: Could the Mississippi lottery throw an amazing run of numbers like Virginia did at exactly the same number of draws as when it happened in Virginia?

I got to work counting draws. Okay, this is a little peculiar, so feel free to check my work, but according to my count, the amazing run of Virginia draws began with the 2676th draw, the 716. Then I counted how many draws there have been in Mississippi and realized that your 2676th draw is going to be the Day draw on Tuesday, April 15, 2025. That's this Tuesday! And then it runs through May 3, 2025.

Parlayman, I wasn't discouraged at all, before it was one of my Favs 315 that Mississippi took forever to drop on the Eve Draw.

We had the Eve Draw first, then Mississippi started the Midday Draw and finally dropped Combination 351 in 2022 for the very first time.

Notice it took another 2 years before one of the other (531) Combinations dropped on the Eve Draw.

I started tracking (368) in All States due solely based on one of the posts for Mississippi... Notice how it hit since you brought it to my attention, the History of Mississippi since it started (4 years + some months, so Mississippi is still fairly young, a Toddler )
