The past four years, the time to play trips was right after another trip. Even knowing that, it's very difficult to make the trips pay because it costs sooo much money to play them, a minimum of $5 per draw..

We haven't gotten a trip so far in 2024, so who knows if this pattern will continue this year?
P.S. Looking at this chart, it still looks like the best bet is to wait until a trip hits then play trips on the second day after and then stop. I know they say scared money doesn't win, but scared money doesn't deplete your bank account or cause your wife's brothers to haul you out to the garage for "the talk," either.
