I didn't play for a full week once this summer...I noticed a change in my overall demeanor. Like I really was a happier person not doing this, but I got the addiction gene passed down to me so didn't take
During that week i realized how often i was checking this site and thinking about what to play. So all that energy and anxiety was erased for that 1 week and i was a much happier person.
So I'm a broken robot and went back to playing regularly... it's infinite sadness this ny numbers. Just endless screwjobs
Been there, done that. As you can see by my member number of this site being #140, there were plenty of times where I got caught up in NY lotteries infinite bull cr@p . Now I choose to control when and how much I want to fund lil jimmy and not get all caught up in the different styles of game play that would aggravate me knowing that I blew a ton of money. I dont do full rundowns with my pairs, maybe use 3 or 4 digits with them, that keeps expenses low. I favor midday plays because it works for me during the work week, that keep expenses low. I like playing just for straight hits so my plays are .50 plays, that keeps expenses low. If I get home before the coffee shop opens in the morning then I know darn well that I'm not playing for that midday draw since I'm home nice and comfortable, that keeps expenses low. I'm not looking to break the bank, just playing for entertainment and that was the toughest lesson to learn in order to stay away from lil jimmys rabbit hole! Take some time off, keep analyzing data to find trends and do some paper play but hold off on spending cash until your confidence is high enough to do so. Maybe hold off until consecutive finally shows and also that mysterious digit 4 in Midday. Seems to me that NYL is backed up and will probably give us other opportunities to catch that consecutive. Well anyway, just my 2 cents.

Well said Golgo13. It becomes addictive and really hard to stop. I get carried away sometimes but I am working on my self. It is not designed for us to win. All I am playing now are the series. Very good advice I hope it helps Matt

While I'm getting work done on my vehicle I'm thinking of trying the 48 pair for midday. Not sure if it I want to play it with double 4's or not. I'll post when I've made up my mind.
