I actually wonder if the whole VTrac strategy of v11, v22, v33, v44, v55 is a solid strategy by itself?
Lets use v11 as an example which would be pairs 00x, 05x, 55x
So you would have:
000 050 550
001 051 551
002 052 552
003 053 553
004 054 554
005 055 555
006 056 556
007 057 557
008 058 558
009 059 559
I crossed out the duplicates
So remember a single combo such as 123 equates to 6 straight combos
a double combo such as 122 equates to 3 straight combos
So the above combos equates to 8 singles or 48 straight combos (highlighted in blue)
"" 18 doubles or 54 straight combos (highlighted in red)
"" 2 triples or 2 straight combos (highlighted in green)
And we arrive at our magic 104 straight combos that v11 represents.
But what is wrong with this picture is we are weighted towards double combos when in actuality you would only expect a double to hit 3 out of 10 draws. But our strategy or betting would be more like even money between singles and doubles. I don't want to throw my money away using a strategy that doesn't match the game odds.
I think I would only want to play this strategy when doubles are slightly overdue or else come up with a VTrac strategy better suited for the Pick 3 game and the golden ratios of 72%, 27%, 1%
What are your thoughts math heads?
