  Hello new here  does anyone have a technique they use for picking your numbers curious if someone has won using their strategy.

  Everybody has their own strategy. You can try the Systems forum, or you can type Pick 3 strategies in the search box and get 10 pages of them.

  I look at the quick picks generator. I do not know if other people are happy with it.

  When I play PowerBall, I play five lines. (Ticket costs $10)

  I let let the terminal do 5 Quick Picks for the first 5 numbers on each line, but I manually select the top 5 hitting PowerBalls for all time.  (October 7th of 2015 through December 8th of 2025) 

  The top five hitting PB's for all time are ranked in this order-  4, 21, 24, 18 & 5.

  Occasionally when I have a few extra bucks that I don't know what to do with, I go stark raving mad with PB.  I only buy one ticket, but I play five lines with The PowerPlay added. (Now my ticket costs $15)  For the first five numbers on each and every line of my ticket, I play the exact same set of five numbers. Then I play the top five PowerBalls - one on each line. At first glance my ticket looks like I played the same line five times. But if you look a little closer at it, I really didn't do that because each PB number is different.

  Crazy, right?  It isn't crazy if you're playing for a second place win of 2 million dollars which turns into 10 million dollars because I matched the first five numbers five times. (My ticket would pay out 2 million dollars five times)  I do this because the odds of winning a second place PB prize are 11 million to 1. The odds of winning a PB jackpot are 292 million to 1. Each and every second place prize winner wins 2 million, the prize IS NOT divided equally between all winners.

  Should I actually win a jackpot by matching all six numbers, then I'd win the amount of the jackpot plus 8 million dollars more for the other four lines. 

  Doing the above is expensive and it's not for everybody.  But then you did ask for a technique for picking/playing numbers!  Best of luck to you.  G5

  You just as well follow the tradition of Lottery Post members. They backtest on past drawn numbers. So my advice: write down the past 25 plays in a forward order. 

  And what you want to do is come up with a system and filters that produce winning numbers. Its a journey. You will be off and on with it for some times, and that's what builds experience.

  You tinker with the numbers, play around with it day and night for weeks, months and years. The mind have a way of adapting and before you know it, a light bulb will come on in your head and BOOM: you got yourself a strategy!

  I did pretty well with Pick 3 in TX until they went to 4 draws a day. After that the wins slowed way down and I said adios.
