Steve's Congruence works like this -
Name x Day of Week Born mod (D.O.B / shoe Size)
Where : Name Numeric value of each letter in the name, e.g. a = 1, z = 26 etc. - Forename is multiplied by Surname. Characters other than letters = 99.
Day of Week Born Uses Zeller's congruence to identify the day of week born from the date of birth input. A value between 1 and 7, where 7 = Sunday.
D.O.B value of Day x Month x Year
Shoe Size U.K. Shoe size between 1 and 25
After the first number is generated, and checked to ensure that it falls between 1 and 49, the numeric value of Name is multiplied by 1.3777 (a value obtained by hours of trial and error) and the next number is generated, ensuring that it falls between 1 and 49 and of course that it is different from previous numbers generated - Until 6 individual numbers are generated.
