I am going to put my 2cents worth in. What most people don't understand is how much time goes into predicting the numbers for all states. We try our best to get the numbers down to a decent level to play, but if we cut it off too quick, we may miss a number. And often people are comparing their rundowns to ours. I used to predict 20-30 numbers a day. Would I like to get it down to 10? Yes, but unfair to the people who compare their numbers to mine.
I left Maybell's, I believe, over a year ago. I never got credit for my wins and the updating was often not done. Did I complain? Yes, I did. And many people who I thought were my friends turned against me........with excuses for the webmaster....he was too busy, etc. Well, if you operate a site, you should do it right. Anyway, I want to get credit. It is not a matter of ego but of pride. It is a good feeling to know you have helped someone win some money. At Maybell's, he would update only some states and not others and therefore, my win percentage was way down. So if someone new would come on the site and look at my numbers and look at my win percentage, they wouldn't play the numbers. So I thought it was unfair; update them all or none at all. Okay, enough said about that site.
I see nothing wrong with posting wins. I used to do it on here and I got comments that I was backslapping. And people said of the 20-30 numbers I posted, of course, 6 or 8 were expected to win because of the odds. I stopped posting those numbers. A few ruin it for everyone. The numbers posted are a guide.......a guide for people to compare. Not to be taken verbatim and for people to play every number. They have responsibility to become knowledgeable. I posted my wins all on 1 page. I see nothing wrong with it.
I know this isn't the situation that you commented about. But I felt it needed to be said. We all don't realize the time that Jazzy, Wpb, Jap69, and the others put it on these posts for us; to help us. I think we can grant them 1 page of results without getting too upset. It's not ego so much as a sense of accomplishment in a job well done. Like Wpb said in an earlier post, blessings flow when we share and give with each other.
I am sorry about the Virus. I don't know if he did it or not but it is very unlike him. He has been around a long time and taken a lot of garbage; he doesn't get credit for his wins either, so I do sympathize with him. I just have a hard time believing that he would do something like that to hurt someone. If it is him----shame on you. This is family and family has arguments. You don't hurt your family. This is my lottery family and I think many feel the same way. We should all be pulling together for one goal......to beat the almighty lottery.
