  Here's something that may be a little help for Pick 4 that has an extra little feature and benefit that may help with the Sums.  

   How's this for an idea. Track the p4 by Sums using the first 3 numbers only.....but ...then you code each one of the Sumsthat hit with the 4th number that came with it. It's using the P-3 sums chart for the first 3 digits of Pick-4........ and the added benefit of using the 4th. number as CODE DIGIT.    

  Example.....321  8    =     sum 6    code 8

                    405  7   =    sum 9   code 7 

  
  

  
  

          206  4   =      sum 8   code 4 

  
  

  
  This might be even better because every time a sum 8 hit you know what kind of sum 8. Was it a sum 8 with a low or high 4th. code number. Were the last 6 sum 8's all with even 4th numbers...? Then next time a sum 8 was due .....you know to look more at odd code nums or high code numbers..etc.. It cuts the amount of sum 8's you have to play the next time one comes along. 

  The more I think about it the better this sounds. It's simple and it even describes the kind of sum. Its simple ...we already have the chart ready to go.....and it goes one step further and helping cut down the number of play choices. Use this with the 10 column (Pick -3 sums chart) and your in good shape to predict ...not only a particular overdue sum.....but a specific type.
