On to more...

Now that the Pick 4 Matrix Counts are done, we can move on to more important matter, like, JADE LSGA.

Please understand everyone, the initial part of the release was to see if the online updating scheme would work.

The actual program release is yet to come and will occur in stages starting with the wheel generation part first.

MatrixCounter Programs and Source Code

The following links are for the MatrixCounter and Source Code.

The Source Code was written in Visual Studio 2008 - C++.

There are two programs, one is the MatrixCounter and the other is just MC.

The MatrixCounter will generate the distribution for a matrix as follows:

a b c d
e f g h
i j k l
m n o p

It will loop through all the possibilities for a, b, c, d, e, f, g, h, i, j, k, l.

The command line argument input is m, n, o, p.

After each cycle is complete, a new set of command line arguments must be used for m, n, o, p.

As an example, you start off at 0 0 0 0, then increment to 0 0 0 1 for the next cycle.

The command line would look something like this:  C:\MatrixCounter\matrixcounter 0 0 0 0

Press enter to start the process.

At the end of the process cycle, a text file is produced in the same directory the program is in.

More detail is commented in the source code.

The process runs at Normal Priority and adding more processes can really slow down your computer.

This is where the MC program comes in.

It can start 10 processes at a time and set them to an Idle (Low) Priority so as not to seriously affect your computer's processing power.

However, there is a limit even to this and it all depends on your processor; a Quad Core is obviously going to do better than a Single Core.

The command line for the MC program looks something like this:  C:\MatrixCounter\mc 0 0 0

Keep in mind, this will start 10 different programs with 10 different windows.

Each will run in an Idle (Low) Priority.

When finished, it will produce 10 text files with the proper sequential order of text files.

By the previous examples, it will run through 0 0 0 0 to 0 0 0 9 as a MatrixCounter process.

If for some reason you can not run the programs, then you may have to compile the programs yourself and debug it for you system.

This code is presented as Unsupported; in addition, these links will become inactive at some point and the files unavailable due to space needs.

It Happend Early This Morning!

On 2009-06-08 @ 01:05 CT the last Matrix Counter finished its' job.

Wheww!!! Glad that's over; now we can have our 'puters back.

We'll post the raw data later today or tomorrow.

There's a lot of info here;  a total size of 4.43 GB (4,763,876,092 bytes) of 10,000 text files that need to be combined into one.

We'll have to compress it in parts to post here.

Almost There, 95% Complete; Working up to 98%.

With 9.5 Quadrillion complete and currently working on getting to 9.8 Qaudrillion by later this day; we hope to be done Pick 4 Matrix Analysis by sometime tomorrow.

A lot of projects have been put on hold just to get caught up.

Crunch-crunch-crunch and a Munch-Munch-munch.

This sucks up most of the porcessing power we have.

Can't even run any other programs decently.

We'll be glad when this is all done.

Entry #446

Pick 4 Matrix Analysis at 90% by Midnight Tonight.

Well, going very well for the Pick 4 Matrix Analysis; we're nearing 90% complete.

That's 9 Quadrillion outcomes and each outcome has about 63 math operations with a few programming steps.

Once this is complete, the expansion can begin for Pick 5 to Pick 10 and everything in between.

Entry #445

Picking Up the Pace

We are now at 75% complete on the Pick 4 Matrix analysis.

That's a total of 7.5 Quadrillion or 7,500,000,000,000,000 possible outcomes.

Ah-ah-ah-ah, moronic and rediculous.

First, I've been checking the Wisconsin Lottery Web Site to see if it is up since the last reports that is has been down for a while. (As if I actually go there any more for information.) Well, any way, I just happened across an oxymoronic and quite possible a deceptive advertisement. The Wisconsin Lottery is going to be promoting a Pick 3 Double Draw Days in June. In their ad, they use the word 'Ball' to describe the drawing as if it were an actual ball, a physical entity, a real world object that is producing results. NOT TRUE, there are no BALLS used to produce the result. Hence, the deception! It also shows how their thinking is operating toward the 'Player', change the mind set and make them think it's a real object, when in fact IT IS NOT. Just keep in mind everyone, the other part of selling you the deception is also a psychological one. Be Aware, BE VERY AWARE!

Second, I see this as some sad a attempt to thwart any Pick 3 Matrix Analysis and potential Pick 4 Matrix Analysis that we have come up with. Reason being is, it's very hard on their part to retro fit a solution to this new method of analysis. The analysis only needs two draws for Pick 3 and three draw for Pick 4 to work. Now their attempt to inject some kind of uncertainty into the equation is not going to work. It has to do with Differentiated Instum Sampling. As a different perspective to understand the failed attempt, they conduct test draws to see if the system is working, well those test draws are just like those double draws they are going to have. You're reading this and I know you are, think about it for a while, ponder it... then you'll get the picture. (In a low sounding evil laugh.) Heh-heh-eh...you'll see.

Upgrades and Changes.

We swapped out our old 100 Mb/s Router with a Gigabit Security Router with VPN and upgraded part of our LAN to Gigabit Speed.

My son's computer is not choked off any more... ahh!!!

Things seem to be moving a little better now.

I'm still at a 100 Mb/s on this rusty old tin can, but that may change soon.

Near 50% Done on Pick 4 Matrix Analysis.

We've been working round the clock doing the Matrix Analysis for the Pick 4.

Some of you might know this relates to the Pick 3 Pick 4 Selector program we created.

Trying to analyze 10 ^ 16 or 10 Quadrillion possible outcomes is a fairly time consuming task.

We sould be at or beyond 50% by morning.

This means we have processed 5,000,000,000,000,000 outcomes or 50%.

Just wish we had more 'puters to work with... oh well... the munching continues.
