Back in Town.

K, back in town. Interesting little trip. I drove to Boulder, CO and was in Nebraska last Monday. The only three numbers on my Minnesota truck plates are 1 9 5. Just one off from the 1 9 6 repeating draws for Monday and Tuesday. Interesting because I was in Nebraska Monday but not Tuesday; kind of a one off type of thing too. Huh?

Euphoria turned sour by the over turned coin.

The age old phrase of the calm before storm is moving fast.

Forced out, the fraternity regathers to make a new hero.

Wicked and stained with thoughts of retribution for the fallen.

Powerball Is Going Computer!! Get Ready!!

With the recent draws of the new Powerball and Powerball location. It is obvious that the MUSL has begun the process of converting to Computer Generated Numbers (CGN). The Power Play number is now determined by Computer. This is how the MUSL has decided to slither the CGN into the Powerball. First, the test, see if anyone notices. Second, desensitize people to the fact that the numbers are CGN. Third, add brilliant graphics to divert attention away from the CGN. Then, when all is right in their mind, they'll come up with some lame justification that will ultimately have all numbers CGN. Or are they already?  Hmmmm?

Good time to buy

I can see a slight up turn in the DJIA.

It can only get better.

Unless someone screws it up by design.

I wouldn't want to get me upset.

Diagnosing an Internet Explorer Loading Problem.

I had an interesting little problem when viewing some websites; including the Lottery Post. The web pages took forever to load. I could not understand why some pages would work fine and some would not. Anyway, I found a way to diagnose the problem using Microsoft Internet Explorer. The actual problem turned out to be an Add-On for Internet Explorer. You can Quick Check this by starting Internet Explorer without Add-ons.

  1. Close any Internet Explorer windows that may be open.
  2. Go to your desktop and right click on the Internet Explorer icon.
  3. You can disable the Add-ons by clicking the menu item - Start Without Add-ons.

When you do this, all the Add-ons are disabled and it will be displayed as an information bar at the top of the page view pane. This is to tell you that you are in a diagnostics mode and will show up on each website you visit. If the page you are having problems with loads faster, then one of the Add-ons is causing the problem. You'll have to figure out which one.

  1. Close any Internet Explorer windows that may be open.
  2. Go to your desktop and right click on the Internet Explorer icon.
  3. Menu select - Properties.
  4. Click on the top tab - Programs.
  5. Click on the button - Manage add-ons.
  6. In the drop down menu - Show, make sure it is selected as - Add-ons that have been used by Internet Explorer.

At this point, you should see a list of all the Add-ons used or once used by Internet Explorer. You will have to go through each one-by-one and disable and try them, or... you can do the reverse, disable them all then enable one-by-one. Use either method to find the one Add-on that is causing the problem. After that, you have to decide if this is an Add-on you can live without or not. In my case, I found that Norton added a control for Phishing that in my opinion was pretty useless, so I disabled it.... well, a little more than that, but that is a little more technical than can be described here.

Hope this helps anyone.

PS: Start Internet Explorer normally when enabling or disabling Add-ons individually.

A-Hole-L

Well, looks like A-HOLE-L is kicking everyone off their FTP Space.

I'll have to find a different server to store my EXE's.

Or do I?

Looks like this move to Minnesota has already prepared me for this.

Bat

I was ready long before the announcement.

Cool

Market Waves in the Trough

The market correction that has happened throughout this year and part of last year is near the end. All Wave Matrix values have reached their trough in all wavelengths; long term (months to years), mid term (weeks to months) and short term (days to weeks). The long term cycles need a few more months to show an increase in value and will continue into 2009; where in 2009 September-October, the markets should be back to its 2007 September-October values or beyond. Hang in there people, this may be a pretty rough ride.
