When in order to produce, we need to obtain permission from men who produce nothing.

"When you see that trading is done not by consent, but by compulsion.

When you see that in order to produce, you need to obtain permission from men who produce nothing.

When you see money flowing to those who deal, not in goods, but in favors.

When you see that men get richer by graft and pull, than by work and your laws don't protect you against them, but protect them against you.

When you see corruption being rewarded and honesty becoming self-sacrifice,

you may know that your society is doomed"

Insightful wisdom from 2000 years ago!

Insightful wisdom from 2000 years ago!

"A nation can survive its fools and even the ambitious, but cannot survive treason from within.

An enemy at the gates is less formidable, for he is known and carries his banner openly.

But the traitor moves amongst those within the gate freely, his sly whispers rustling though the alleys, heard in the very halls of government itself.

For the traitor appears not a traitor, he speaks in accents familiar to his victims, and wears their face and their arguments, he appeals to the baseness that lies deep in the hearts of all men.

He rots the soul of the nation, he works secretly and unknown in the night to undermine the pillars of the city, he infects the body politic so that it can no longer resist.

A murderer is less to fear.

The traitor is the plague."

Marcus Tullius Cecero,

Roman Statesman (106 BC)

I will leave this to your own imagination as to whom this applies!

Corruption And The Deepening Swamp... :-(

CORRUPTION AND THE SWAMP

If you want to learn more of what the word "SWAMP" means, this is how it worked in just one state... CALIFORNIA.   It's a great example of what corruption is all about.   Ludicrous as it is, there is no accountability except at the ballot box, and that is our fault for being so gullible and un-informed.   It is also the reason why the import of poorly educated Hispanics is key to maintaining their ELITE STATUS.

This is criminal, but not enforceable.   How pathetic!!!!

Take the 6 minutes to watch this video and get a real dose of the truth.

Inconvenient Truth of the Racist Democratic Party- History Records

The Inconvenient Truth of the Racist Democratic Party

Spread the love

There are a lot of misconceptions about the roles each of our two major political parties have played throughout history and continue to play today. I will go through the history of each party, from their conceptions to their current state. You will see that neither party has really changed. Only their perceptions have, all due to the part of the Democratic lies.

The Democrat Party was founded by Andrew Jackson, as a pro slave and anti Native American Party. Their agenda was clear: White Supremacy.

The Republican Party was founded in 1854 in Wisconsin by former members of the Whig Party. They had only one goal in mind: to abolish Slavery.

They newly formed Republican Party quickly gained support from the public. By 1856, they had selected their first presidential candidate, John C. Fremont.

In 1857, the Dred Scott V Sanford case was brought before the Supreme Court. The Court ruled that slaves were not citizens. They were property. All seven of the justices that voted in favor of slavery were Democrats. The two that voted against slavery were Republican. The slavery issue was resolved only because of the Civil War that began with the succession of the Democratic southern states.

By 1860, the Democratic south threatened succession from the Republican North if Abraham Lincoln became

president.

Lincoln went on to win the election in November of 1860. Only six weeks went by before South Carolina announced their plan to succeed from the Union. Six weeks later, five more Democratic states joined.

In April of 1861, the Civil War officially began. This war is the deadliest war in US history. Over 1,000,000 Americans died in this war. Of the 1,000,000+ deaths, 50,000 were free civilians, 80,000 were enslaved non combatants. 360,000 Republican soldiers died freeing the slaves. 258,000 Democratic soldiers died trying to keep African Americans as slaves.

The Democratic Confederates eventually surrendered. 6 days later, Abraham Lincoln was assassinated by the Democrat actor, John Wilkes Booth. Like today, Democrats ruled the acting industry. There was no Hollywood yet but the predecessor to Hollywood was a thriving industry, run by Democrats.

In 2018, the Democratic run acting industry is known for making threats against our Republican president. In 1865, it was no different. The ideology and policies of the Democratic Party are very dangerous and have always been.

On May 13, 1865, the Civil War officially ended.

Lincoln’s Vice President, Andrew Johnson, was a Democrat. He was unified by all Democrats in office when they opposed the 13th Amendment, (Abolished

Slavery), 14th Amendment, (Gave Blacks Citizenship) and 15th Amendment, (Gave Blacks the right to vote). These 3 Amendments to our Constitution only were passed because of the overwhelming support from the Republicans.

During Reconstruction, US soldiers stationed in the South helped secure the rights for the newly freed slaves. Hundreds of black men were elected into government positions and 22 served in the US Congress over the next 35 years. All were elected as Republican.

After the federal troops left the south, the Democratic South immediately began their resurgence of power by creating oppressive laws like Black Codes, restricting the ability of owning property and businesses, creating literacy tests and poll taxes in order to suppress the black vote. They achieved these newly passed laws by implementing a new organization known as the Ku Klux Klan, founded by Nathan Bedford Forrest. Democratic politicians and policemen made threats and terrorized on blacks and whites who opposed, very similar to how they continue to pass laws today. They hid their faces with white masks and hoods while doing this. Also, very similar to how they do it today with the Democratic founded organizations, such as Anti-Fa.

A few decades later, we entered a new age in the fight for freedom and equality. Democrats opposed the Civil Rights Act of 1964. over 4/5 of the Republicans supported it. Democratic senators filibustered the bill for 75 days before Republicans were able to gain enough support to break through the Democratic stronghold.

After 100 years of Democrats fighting Republicans in an effort to keep blacks enslaved and prevent them from voting failed, they came up with a new strategy: If blacks are going to vote, we’ll make them vote Democrat. Democrat President, Lyndon B. Johnson, famously said: “I’ll have them N****rs voting Democrat for the next 200 years”.

Now the Democratic Party prospers off the backs of the very people they’ve publicly oppressed for almost 200 years. Democrats falsely claim that Republicans are the villains but in reality, it’s the purposely failed policies of the Democratic Party that continues to keep the black community down. They ruined the black family with their welfare state policies. No choice in schools keeping, them trapped in failed schools.

Democrats claim the parties flipped at some point. They point to the Civil Rights Act as the time period when this took place. The truth is, only one Democrat from that era flipped. The rest continued in the Democratic Party or were voted out of office and replaced with other Democrats. All Democratic presidents after the Civil Rights Act of 1964, until Barack Obama, were Southern Democrats.

Democrats claim that Republicans are the party of racism and racism is bred in the south. The truth is, Republicans did not hold a majority of southern congress seats until 1994, 30 years after the Civil Rights Act was passed. If modern Republicans were truly racist, why would they wait 30 years to ditch the Democratic Party?

Here is what really happened:

The values of the south have changed. Southerners are no longer interested in having slaves and oppressing blacks. Southerners are more interested in small government, guns, religion and share pro life values. These values are instilled in the Republican Party. The Democratic Party continues to hold the same values they’ve always held. Oppression and control over every aspect of a person’s life through terror and slander.

Today, a southern white person is more likely to vote for a black conservative than a white liberal. Ben Carson led a portion of the Republican primary in 2016 and finished 3rd overall in popularity, behind Ted Cruz and Donald Trump.

Republican South Carolina Senator, Tim Scott, remains very popular by the white majority voters. Conservatives don’t look at race when voting. They look to the values held by that person. The Democratic Party can not exist with identity politics. They were founded on and continue to thrive on race.

To summarize, here is a list of what the Democratic Party was founded on:

1) Defended Slavery

2) Started the Civil War

3) Opposed Reconstruction

4) Founded the Ku Klux Klan

5) Imposed Segregation

6) Perpetrated Lynchings

7) Fought Civil Rights

Here is a list of what the Republican Party was founded on:

1) Freeing Slaves and fighting racists by ensuring equality for all with emancipation and integration.

So You Want To Move To California And Buy A Decent Home? Here Is How Much You Need, & Why

So You Want To Move To California And Buy A Decent Home? Here Is How Much You Need, And Why

by  Lee Ohanian

Tuesday, February 19, 2019

In an earlier  California on Your Mind column, I discussed how California is ranked 49th among US states in housing affordability, 42nd in public school quality, and 40th in tax relief, all of which negatively affect Californians, particularly those with school-age children.

On the other hand, California ranks 8th in the country in wages, as there are a number of high-paying jobs in what is known as “Coastal California.” This area refers to the counties that border or are very near the coast, including San Francisco, Santa Clara (Silicon Valley), Los Angeles, San Diego, and Orange (the populous area between Los Angeles and San Diego), among others. These areas account for about 65 percent of the state’s population.

This raises the question of whether the relatively high-paying jobs in Coastal California offset the costs of housing, poor education, and high taxes. No, not by a long shot. OK, then how much does a family of four, with two working parents, need to earn to be able to buy the median-priced house in a Coastal California location, and have enough after-tax income left over to pay for other household expenses and put away a bit for savings? Around $130,000, according to my calculations, if a family sends their children to a public school. This is about 75 percent higher than actual household median income in coastal California, which is about $75,000. And, as I describe below, the median-priced home does not exactly qualify as your dream house.

The primary factor driving this high level of required income is very high home prices. The median-priced home in coastal California is about $743,000. Even if a family has a 20 percent down payment on this home (nearly $150,000), and no other debt, then qualifying for a conventional 30-year mortgage at an interest rate of 4.5 percent requires about $130,000 in annual income. To put this in perspective, the area with the highest median household income in California is Silicon Valley, at about $112,000 per year.

Making payments on a $600,000 mortgage, paying property taxes and homeowners insurance, and paying federal and state income taxes (after deductions) takes nearly $60,000.  Housing expenses and income taxes alone would take up roughly 80 percent of the median household income in Coastal California.

Adding in other household expenses—food, clothing, utilities, health care, transportation, child care, and miscellaneous expenses—is an additional $59,000, for a grand total of roughly $120,000 in expenses. However, the cost estimates for these other household expenses from the California Budget Center may be too low. For example, it assumes food expenses of only about $6 per person per day. Assuming more realistic food expenses, along with adding in a small level of savings, increases this easily to $130,000 or more. And keep in mind, this is for a family using public schools.

This calculation suggests that only a small fraction of California households can afford to purchase a home in the areas of California that have the highest-paying jobs. So, who is buying these homes? It boils down to (1) households with exceptionally high incomes; (2) legacy homeowners, who have a very high down payment because of accumulated home equity, and (3) households who have considerable assets for a high down payment, which often reflects parental or other family help.

Suppose you are a household in one of these three groups and can afford the median-priced home.  Here is an example of what you can buy in Northern California.

No, this home will not keep you up at night wondering whether you should take on a second job to buy it.

Meanwhile,  here is an example of a median-priced home in Austin, Texas.

This newly constructed home is about 50 percent less expensive than the California home above, as building costs in Texas are much lower than in California. It is also the case that the median household income in Austin is about the same as in Coastal California. Is it any wonder that Austin is one of the most popular destinations for those who are moving out of California? And there are plenty of people leaving California, including 381,000 from LA County alone in the last five years.  Housing is by far the number one reason why.

Economic policies that prevent new development are the major factor in keeping housing prices so high. Economic analyses indicate that the severest building restrictions in the state tend to be in the most expensive locations, including San Francisco and Silicon Valley. In these locations, “not in my backyard,” or NIMBY, complaints against development run amok.

There is a simple economic reason why this is the case. Some homeowners in these locations have much of their net worth tied up in their home’s equity. NIMBYism is therefore a natural consequence of homeowners trying to protect the value of their major investment by blocking development that they believe will reduce the value of their homes. It is now fashionable for politicians to decry NIMBYism, but the zoning and environmental-review policies that they have created are the main reason why NIMBYism is so prevalent in California.

Voters in Coastal California  vote overwhelmingly for Democratic party candidates. This has created a significant tension in the state’s Democratic party, as some Democratic voters, including some current homeowners, want to block development, while other Democratic voters (those who are not homeowners) want to substantially increase development to increase supply and reduce housing prices.

This tension has been in place for years within the state Democratic party, and thus far the development blockers have prevailed. Previous California governor Jerry Brown tried to exempt affordable housing from environmental reviews that are often used to block development or grab concessions, but this effort was blocked by community and environmental groups and by unions. In a very different approach, governor Gavin Newsom is now suing cities for  not building enough houses. But this will be difficult for cities to do without reform of the regulatory measures that drive up the cost of building.

At a time when many in this country are attacking elitism and its undue political influence, it is this exact force that is responsible for the extraordinarily high home prices in the country’s most politically liberal state. And in terms of your housing budget, the state’s Democratic party effectively does not care.

Musicians who faced rejection before great success

Musicians who faced rejection before great success

succeeded against all odds

Elvis Aron Presley
Born January 8, 1935 in Tupelo, Mississippi

Elvis Presley has a legacy that lives on as “King of Rock “N” Roll”, and is now considered one of the greatest performers of all time. His charisma, talent, and larger than life attraction has never went away to this day. Elvis Presley is impersonated more than any other icon around the world with millions that try to master his image. Most fail miserably! There’s just something about Elvis Presley that moved people in an odd way. On Jan 14, 1973 Elvis performed a live broadcast from Hawaii that more people watched than when Armstrong stepped on the moon. But as a kid growing up his chances of such great fame, and success were seemingly impossible.

He was no stranger to poverty, and rejection growing up. In school he was considered a shy loner, white trash hillbilly. In 1954 Elvis auditioned to sing, only to find rejection wherever he went. He auditioned to sing for the Song fellows, and was crushed when they told him he can’t sing. Determined not to quit he auditioned for the Eddie Bond’s band and gets rejected.

Eddie Bond tells Elvis to keep driving truck  because he will never make it as a singer. At that time Sam Phillips (Owner of Sun Records) had already auditioned Elvis and was not impressed, but when Elvis joined Scotty Moore (guitarist) and Bill Black (bass player) he was interested in hearing him again.

When Elvis auditioned he was so nervous that he bombed his first few sessions. At that moment Elvis knew this was probably his last chance of recognition …. So he loosened up and started playing a 1946 blues song called “That’s Al Right” with a fast rhythm, and unique style that impresses Phillips. Within a short time this song becomes Elvis Presley’s first hit.

From there he took the world by storm, and popularized rock”n”roll, with his wild body moves, and extraordinary voice. Elvis Presley songs combined have sold more than one billion albums worldwide.

European HOLLAND's Concert & Queen Beatrix

Holland

Dutch Orchestra Walks Out on Muslim guest conductor .

When the most liberal country in Europe pulls the plug on Islam, the
world is beginning to see the light.

Queen Beatrix of The Netherlands attended a concert in the capital, Amsterdam.

The Guest Conductor, who just happens to be Muslim, proceeded to give the Queen a propaganda lecture on the irrelevant "beauty" of Islam.

The entire orchestra got up and walked out, refusing to be associated with someone lecturing their Queen.

The staff of the music hall escorted the conductor off-stage, and after questioning, out of the building.

Now that took courage. Good for the people of Holland.

Watch the boycott walk out.

OCC Couldn't Happen Twice? :-)

A handsome man, walked into a sports bar around 9:58 pm. He sat down next to Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez

at the bar and stared up at the TV as the 10:00 news came on.
The news crew was covering a story of a man on a ledge of a large building preparing to jump.

Alexandria looked at Jack and said, "Do you think he'll jump?"

Jack says, "You know what, I bet he will."

Alexandria replied, "Well, I bet he won't." Jack placed $30 on the bar and said, "You're on!"

Just as she placed her money on the bar, the guy did a swan dive off of the building, falling to his death.

She was very upset and handed her $30 to Jack, saying, "Fair's fair... Here's your money."

Jack replied, "I can't take your money, I saw this earlier on the 5 o'clock news and knew he would jump."

Alexandria replies, "I did too; but I didn't think he'd do it again."

Jack took the money. Alexandria went back to work at the US Congress.

Thus is the reasoning of socialists—they’ve seen societies that adopt socialism die repeatedly throughout history, but think that it won’t happen again.

Five eyes, five arms, four legs, three congressmen: Combat veteran welcomes new lawmakers

Unfortunately, picture of these brave purple heart recipients would not download  Unhappy

Five eyes, five arms, four legs. As one veteran pointed out, that adds up to three NEW all-American lawmakers.

To celebrate the newly sworn-in 116th Congress, Rep. Brian Mast, R-Fla., posted a picture on Twitter with freshman Republican colleagues Reps. Jim Baird, R-Ind., and Dan Crenshaw, R-Texas. All three have been wounded in combat.

According to data from Army Times, there are 96 House and Senate members with military service under their belt, a far cry from post-draft-war eras such as World War II and Vietnam. Fewer than 40 sitting lawmakers served in Iraq or Afghanistan.

New members of Congress were sworn in Thursday following November’s midterm elections.
