"CNN found that Hillary Clinton is the most admired woman in America. Women admire her because she's strong and successful. Men admire her because she allows her husband to cheat and get away with it." ~ Jay Leno

The Chinese Doctor & The Lawyer :-)

The Chinese Doctor & The Lawyer

A Chinese Doctor can't find a job in a Hospital in the US, so he opens his own clinic and puts a sign outside

'GET TREATMENT FOR $20 - IF NOT CURED GET BACK $100.'

An American lawyer thinks this is a great opportunity to earn $100 and goes to the clinic.

Lawyer: 'I have lost my sense of taste.'

Chinese: 'Nurse, bring medicine from box No. 22 and put 3 drops in patient's mouth.'

Lawyer: 'Ugh. this is kerosene.'

Chinese: 'Congrats, your sense of taste is restored. Give me $20.'

The annoyed lawyer goes back after a few days to recover his money.

Lawyer: 'I have lost my memory. I cannot remember anything.'

Chinese: 'Nurse, bring medicine from box no. 22 and put 3 drops in his mouth.'

Lawyer (annoyed): 'This is kerosene. You gave this to me last time for restoring my taste.'

Chinese: 'Congrats. You got your memory back. Give me $20.'

The fuming lawyer pays him, and then comes back a week later determined to get back $100.

Lawyer: 'My eyesight has become very weak I can't see at all.'

Chinese: 'Well, I don't have any medicine for that, so take this $100.'

Lawyer (staring at the note): 'But this is $20, not $100!!'

Chinese: 'Congrats, your eyesight is restored. Give me $20'

NYT: Demos no longer sure they want to 'Go High'

By Matt Flegenheimer

New York Times

WASHINGTON — In 2016, Michelle Obama’s words became the Democrats’ defining creed to counter Donald J. Trump’s battering ram of a presidential campaign: “When they go low, we go high.”

Two years later, the appeal of “high” seems low.

As much as any policy tensions or messaging debate within the party, this question of tone — of how to combat Mr. Trump effectively without slipping into a pale imitation — is perhaps the central divide of this Democratic moment (and the next one, with the 2020 campaign looming).

How will Democrats choose to revise Mrs. Obama’s sentence, with Mr. Trump heaving insults from the White House and the rally stage — his pre-midterm bully pulpit?

“When they go low, we kick them,” Eric H. Holder Jr., the former Obama administration attorney general and a possible 2020 candidate, said this week.

“When they go low, I say hit back harder,” Michael Avenatti, the cable-ubiquitous lawyer flirting with his own presidential run as a Trump-style brawler, told a crowd in Iowa over the summer.

Few but Mrs. Obama seemed inclined to defend the original refrain. “Fear,” Mrs. Obama told NBC on Thursday, “is not a proper motivator. Hope wins out.”

But for many Democrats, it does not seem to be winning out, at least for now.

It is one thing for Mr. Avenatti, the telegenic anti-Trump id, to seize this kind of rhetorical real estate. But increasingly, much of the Democratic establishment seems to be marching that way, too, channeling the righteous anger of the progressive base.

Going high, these Democrats say, got them minority status across the federal government. Going high got them a president accused of sexual assault, installing a Supreme Court justice accused of sexual assault (both deny it).

“You cannot be civil with a political party that wants to destroy what you stand for,” Hillary Clinton told CNN this week. “If we are fortunate enough to win back the House and/or the Senate, that’s when civility can start again. But until then, the only thing that the Republicans seem to recognize and respect is strength.”

Mrs. Clinton seems unlikely to recommend her 2016 campaign slogan, “Stronger Together,” to the next generation. Yet if she failed to reflect the national mood during her last run, Democrats had spent years before that straining to project indignation in the right proportions.

Former President Barack Obama could seem removed, ever mindful of the minefields underfoot for a black politician emitting fury.

Mrs. Clinton, before her 2016 turn as a stateswoman and grandmother, staked her 2008 bid on evincing a toughness that could match any man’s.

Former Vice President Joseph R. Biden Jr. has held himself out as a Democratic rarity: unwilling to give up on the white working-class voters who lifted Mr. Trump, but unafraid to go nose to nose with their president.

The result: down-home paeans to a well-placed whupping.

Any man, sitting on the edge - take notice :-)

Any man was sitting on the edge - take notice :-)

This man was sitting on the edge of the bed, observing his wife, looking at herself in the mirror. Since her birthday was not far off he asked what she'd like to have for her Birthday.

"I'd like to be six again", she replied, still looking in the mirror. On the morning of her Birthday, he arose early, made her a nice big bowl of Lucky Charms, and then took her to Six Flags theme park. What a day! He put her on every ride in the park; the Death Slide, the Wall of Fear, the Screaming Monster Roller Coaster, everything there was. Five hours later they staggered out of the theme park. Her head was reeling and her stomach felt upside down. He then took her to a McDonald's where he ordered her a Happy Meal with extra fries and a chocolate shake. Then it was off to a movie, popcorn, a soda pop, and her favorite candy, M&M's. What a fabulous adventure! Finally she wobbled home with her husband and collapsed into bed exhausted.

He leaned over his wife with a big smile and lovingly asked, "Well Dear, what was it like being six again??"

Her eyes slowly opened and her expression changed , "I meant my dress size, you dumb ass!"  :-)

California's DIANE FEINSTEIN EXPOSED :-(

THE TRUTH ABOUT DIANE FEINSTEIN

The US has entered into a contract with a real estate firm to sell 56 buildings that currently house U.S. Post Offices. All 56 were built, operated, and paid for by tax-paying American citizens.  Now enjoy reading the rest: The government has decided it no longer needs these buildings, most of which are located on prime land in towns and cities across the country.  The sale of these properties will fetch about $19 billion!

A regular real estate commission will be paid to the company that was given the exclusive listing for handling the sales.  That company is CRI and it belongs to a man named Richard Blum.   Richard Blum is the husband of Senator Dianne Feinstein!    (Most voters and many of the government people who approved the deal have not made the connection between the two because they have different last names).

Senator Feinstein and her husband stand to make a fortune, estimated at between $950 million and $1.1 BILLION from these transactions!

His company is the sole real estate agent on the sale!

CRI will be making a minimum of 2% and as much as 6% commission on each and every sale.  All of the properties that are being sold are all fully paid for. They were purchased with U.S. taxpayers’ dollars.

The U.S.P.S. is allowed free and clear, tax exempt use. The only cost to keep them open is the cost to actually keep the doors open and the heat and lights on. The United States Postal Service doesn't even have to pay county property taxes on these subject properties.

QUESTION? Would you put your house in foreclosure just because you couldn't afford to pay the electric bill?

Well, the folks in Washington have given the Post Office the OK to do it!   Worse yet, most of the net proceeds of the sales will go back to the U.S.P.S, an organization that is so poorly managed that they have lost $117 billion dollars in the past 10 years!

No one in the mainstream media is even raising an eyebrow over the conflict of interest and on the possibility of corruption on the sale of billions of dollars worth of public assets.

How does a U.S. Senator from San Francisco manage to get away with organizing and lobbying such a sweet deal ? Has our government become so elitist that they have no fear of oversight?

It's no mere coincidence that these two public service crooks have different last names; a feeble attempt at avoiding transparency in these type of transactions.

Everone can verify it on TruthorFiction and Snopes:

If this doesn't upset you, don't complain about the corruption and the ineptness in D.C.

Repaying Your Debt :-)

Repaying Your Debt ? ?

Middle Eastern, Hodja (teacher), was selling olives at the market and business was slow. He called to a woman who was passing by and tried to entice her. She shook her head and told him she didn't have any money with her."No problem," the Hodja grinned. "You can pay me later."She still looked hesitant, so he offered her one to taste."Oh no, I can't, I'm fasting," she responded."Fasting? But Ramadan was 6 months ago!""Yes, well, I missed a day and I'm making it up now. Go ahead and give me a kilo of the black olives.

"Forget it!" shouted the Hodja. "If it took you 6 months to pay back a debt you owed ALLAH, who knows when you'll get around to paying me!"

US Davis male wrongfully accused of sexual misconduct :-(

US Davis male wrongfully accused of sexual misconduct

Straight from UC Davis, a pretty scary story. This happens much more often than we know. Not taking anything away from the all too often  and more serious situations of actual sexual assault. But this illustrates the need for balance, due process, and attention to fact vs claim, and the dangers of just outright believing women just because of the nasty nature of the crime/allegation.

Male Student Shells Out $12,000 In Legal Defense After Female Student Changes Mind About Consensual Hookup

October 10, 2018

A male student at the University of California-Davis shelled out roughly $12,000 in legal defense after a female student he had a consensual sexual encounter with later changed her mind about the nature of his actions.

According to an in-depth  report from Reason magazine, statements from both students (pseudonymously known as James and Becky) describing the interaction indicate that they engaged in light consensual sexual touching and kissing in October of 2017.

"In James's view, the encounter had not only been fully consensual, it was also mutual: Becky bore just as much responsibility for initiating it as James. And, as Becky would later make clear to the investigator, she had also touched him sexually—she explicitly described her own actions in her official statement," notes Reason.

But in February of 2018, James received an email from a Title IX compliance officer informing him that he would be investigated for possibly violating the school's sexual assault and sexual violence policies; a guilty finding could lead to James being suspended or expelled.

Becky had apparently changed her mind about the encounter and filed a complaint, alleging the freshmen touched her "on her breasts and buttocks over and under her clothing without her consent."

Notably, James' lawyer argued that Becky's statement, which he categorized as more damaging to her than his client, did not so much as even allege any misconduct.

"[Becky's] account of the incident as set forth in the summary of her investigative interviews does not, on its face, allege any 'act of Prohibited Conduct,'" the attorney wrote in a letter to UC-Davis' Title IX coordinator Wendi Delmendo. "Even if everything [Becky] alleges is true, my client clearly did nothing wrong and did not engage in Prohibited Conduct."

But that didn't matter.

In accordance with Obama-era guidance, the investigation lasted until May 1, 2018,when James was finally found innocent, after  his family had paid some $12,000 in legal defense fees and his life had been tuned upside down.

"We're not a rich family, so that made a sizeable debt," James told Reason. "Tuition for UC-Davis is around $16,000 a year. This was almost another year of college."

As noted by Reason's Robby Soave, the process, in one sense, "worked," since James was rightly found innocent. "But if this was an example of the process working, it's quite a curious one," argues Soave. "University administrators spent weeks investigating the matter. It cost James' family thousands of dollars. And it caused James tremendous emotional stress."

James is just another example of the harm the excesses of the perhaps well-intentioned #MeToo movement can enable.

Short Story with a happy ending... :-)

This is a story with a happy ending...

I was sitting at the bar staring at my drink when a large, trouble-making biker steps up next to me, grabs my drink and gulps it down in one swig."

“Well, whatcha' gonna do about it?" he says, menacingly, as I burst into tears.  "Come on, man," the biker says, "I didn't think you'd cry.  I can't stand to see a man crying.”

"This is the worst day of my life," I said. "I'm a complete failure.  I was late to a meeting and my boss fired me.  When I went to the parking lot, I found my car had been stolen and I don't have any insurance.  I left my wallet in the cab I took home.  I found my wife with another man ... and then my dog bit me."

"So, I came to this bar to work up the courage to put an end to it all.  I buy a drink, I drop a capsule in it and sit here watching the poison dissolve.  Then you show up and drink the whole <snip> thing!

-But, hell, enough about me, how are you doing?"

Finally, a police car comes up. The cop gets out of his car and walks around to the truck driver, puts his hands on his hips and says, "Got stuck, huh?"

A Norwegian Ventriloquist Apologizes :-)

A Norwegian Ventriloquist Apologizes

A young ventriloquist is touring Norway and puts on a show in a small fishing town. With his dummy on his knee, he starts going through his usual dumb blonde jokes.

Suddenly, a blonde woman in the fourth row stands on her chair and starts shouting, 'I've heard enough of your stupid blonde jokes. What makes you think you can stereotype Norwegian blonde women that way? What does the color of a woman's hair have to do with her worth as a human being? It's men like you who keep women like me from being respected at work and in the community, and from reaching our full potential as people. Its people like you that make others think that all blondes are dumb. You and your kind continue to perpetuate discrimination against not only blondes but women in general, pathetically all in the name of humor!'

The embarrassed ventriloquist begins to apologize, and the blonde interrupts yelling:

'You stay out of this..I'm talking to that little jerk on your lap.'

One Last Confession :-)

One Last Confession

While a man was dying, his wife was maintaining a candlelight vigil by his side. She held his fragile hand, tears running down her face. Her praying woke him from his slumber. He looked up, and his pale lips began to move slightly."My darling," he whispered."Hush, my love," she said. "Rest, don't talk."He was insistent. "I have something that I must confess," he said in a tired voice."There isn't anything to confess," replied his weeping wife. "Everything's ok. Go to sleep."The man blurted out: "No, no, I must die in peace. I...I slept with your sister, your best friend, her best friend, and your mother!" "I know," whispered his wife, "that's why I poisoned you."

NOT ALL THIEVES ARE STUPID - Good Security Procedures

NOT ALL THIEVES ARE STUPID!

1. LONG  - TERM PARKING

Some people left their car in the long-term parking at San Jose while away, and someone broke into the car.

Using the information on the car's registration in the glove compartment, they drove the car to the people's home in Pebble Beach and robbed it.

So I guess if we are going to leave the car in long-term parking, we should NOT leave the registration/insurance cards in it, nor your remote garage door opener.

This gives us something to think about with all our new electronic technology.

2. GPS:

Someone had their car broken into while they were at a football game.

Their car was parked on the green that was adjacent to the football stadium and specially allotted to football fans.

Things stolen from the car included a garage door remote control, some money and a GPS that had been prominently mounted on the dashboard.

When the victims got home, they found that their house had been ransacked and just about everything worth anything had been stolen. The thieves had used the GPS to guide them to the house.

They then used the garage remote control to open the garage door and gain entry to the house. The thieves knew the owners were at the football game, they knew what time the game was scheduled to finish and so they knew how much time they had to clean out the house.

It would appear that they had brought a truck to empty the house of its contents.

Something to consider if you have a GPS - don't put your home address in it.  Put a nearby address (like a store or gas station) so you can still find your way home if you need to, but no one else would know where you live if your GPS were stolen.

3. CELL PHONES:

I never thought of this! This lady has now changed her habit of how she lists her names on her cell phone after her handbag was stolen. Her handbag, which contained her cell phone, credit card, wallet, etc., was stolen.

Twenty minutes later when she called her hubby, from a pay phone telling him what had happened, hubby says, "I received your text asking about our Pin number and I've replied a little while ago." When they rushed down to the bank, the bank staff told them all the money was already withdrawn.

The thief had actually used the stolen cell phone to text  "hubby" in the contact list and got hold of the pin number. Within 20 minutes he had withdrawn all the money from their bank account.

Moral lesson:

a. Do not disclose the relationship between you and the people in your contact list. Avoid using names like Home, Honey, Hubby, Sweetheart, Dad, Mom, etc..

b. And very importantly, when sensitive info is being asked through texts, CONFIRM by calling back.

c. Also, when you're being texted by friends or family to meet them somewhere, be sure to call back to confirm that the message came from them. If you don't reach them, be very careful about going places to meet  "family and friends" who text you.

4. PURSE IN THE GROCERY CART SCAM:

A lady went grocery shopping at a local mall and left her purse sitting in the children's seat of the cart while she reached something off a shelf.

Wait till you read the WHOLE story!

Her wallet was stolen, and she reported it to the store personnel.

After returning home, she received a phone call from the Mall Security to say that they had her wallet and that although there was no money in it, it did still hold her personal papers.

She immediately went to pick up her wallet, only to be told by Mall Security that they had not called her. By the time she returned home again, her house had been broken into and burglarized.

The thieves knew that by calling and saying they were Mall Security, they could lure her out of her house long enough for them to burglarize it.

Even if this does not pertain to you, please let your family and friends know so they don't get caught in a scam

CHRISTINE BLASEY FORD & Corcept Therapeutics (abortion pill)

CHRISTINE BLASEY FORD

[Nobody knows how Brett Kavanaugh would vote as a Supreme Court Justice on issues surrounding abortion.  However it is very likely that Christine Blasey Ford and the company for which she is a researcher (Corcept Therapeutics) do not want to take a chance. Kavanaugh might hurt their profits!  Corcept Therapeutics manufactures and markets an abortion pill called “mifepristone” which is widely known as “RU-486”

The article below written by Mike Adams is fully documented. Please make sure to look at the bios posted in the screen shot entitled “Consortium Core Faculty.”  This clearly shows that  Christine Blasey, Ph.D. is a Director of Biostatistics at Corcept Therapeutics and is a current professor at Palo Alto University.]  – Donna Garner]

Quote from this article:  Now the truth comes out: Blasey is a paid researcher for an abortion pill company with a lot to lose if Kavanaugh is confirmed to the U.S. Supreme Court.”

 9.20.18 – Natural News

“Kavanaugh accuser Christine Blasey exposed for ties to Big Pharma abortion pill maker… effort to derail Kavanaugh is plot to protect abortion industry profits”    By Mike Adams

Kavanaugh accuser Christine Blasey Ford, who claims — without any evidence — that Kavanaugh inappropriately touched her at a drunken party while in high school, turns out to have strong ties to an abortion pill pharmaceutical company called Corcept Therapeutics [produces an abortion pill called “mifepristone” also referred to as RU-486].

This discovery brings to light an obvious conflict of interest in Blasey’s story, revealing that she works for a pharmaceutical company that manufacturers an abortion pill drug, whose profits could be strongly impacted by future Supreme Court decisions on abortion rights.

Corcept Therapeutics (Corcept.com) manufacturers and markets an abortion pill drug called mifepristone, and Christine Blasey Ford is a co-author of at least  EIGHTpublished scientific papers produced by the pharmaceutical giant to promote its pills.  You can see Blasey’s name listed on several publications at  this Corcept.com web page detailing their research papers.

Corcept Therapeutics, Inc., a $166 billion market cap company (stock symbol CORT) reportedly has current annual sales of $216 million. The company offers just one drug, mifepristone, which is widely known as an “abortion pill” or RU-486.

American passenger jet was taking off from Kennedy Airport, NY

An American Air Line passenger jet was taking off from Kennedy Airport, NY

A plane was taking off from Kennedy Airport. After it reached a comfortable cruising altitude, the captain made an announcement over the intercom.

"Ladies and gentlemen, this is your captain speaking. Welcome to Flight 293, nonstop from New York to Los Angeles. The weather ahead is good and therefore we should have a smooth and uneventful flight. Now, please sit back and relax... AAHHHHH! ....DAMMIT!"

The passengers sat in silence, waiting for terrible news.
Then, the captain came back on the intercom and said, "Ladies and Gentlemen, I am so sorry if I scared you earlier, but while I was talking, the flight- attendant brought me a cup of coffee and spilled the hot coffee in my lap. You should see the front of my pants!"

A passenger in Coach said, "

That's nothing. You should see the back of mine!"

Best week of Donald Trump's presidency :-)

Wayne Allyn Root

Here are the lessons and winners of this epic, historic battle over the Brett Kavanaugh nomination:

First, America always does the right thing … but only after exhausting every other option.

Second, the biggest winner is President Donald Trump. Notch another victory on his belt. The score after 21 months in office is Trump 100, Democrats 0. Against all odds, Trump just keeps winning.

Remember, last week Trump also won the Mexico-Canada trade battle; unemployment dropped to the lowest level since 1969; Hispanic unemployment dropped to the lowest level ever; manufacturing jobs growth was the best since 1995; and Trump’s approval rating soared to 51 percent at Rasmussen. Polls show Republicans pulling away in Senate races across the country. This was the best week of the Trump presidency.

In Trump’s world, it’s all about the fight and your fighting spirit. It’s all about your ability to bare-knuckle brawl. Winning isn’t about brains or IQ. It isn’t about brilliant ideas or unique strategy. Winning is all about being a relentless fighter. Being a bulldog. Being a bull in a china shop. It’s about fighting spirit. It’s about believing in yourself and your goals. It’s about fighting so hard, so passionately, you never let go until victory is achieved.

It’s about who wants it more. Trump always wants it more.

That’s what Trump is all about — the fight. Sure, you get bruised and battered and slandered. Sure, it hurts. But anything worth having is worth fighting for.

Trump proved it in the 2016 election. He was attacked, denigrated, slandered and humiliated more than any politician in history. But he never backed down. Instead he doubled down. He came right back at his critics. Winston Churchill said, “If you’re going through hell, keep going.” Trump just kept going … and fighting.

And after being slandered and called all those bad names, he’ll now be, for the rest of all-time, President Donald J. Trump. Was it worth it? You bet it was.

Churchill also said, “Never give in, never give in, never, never, never.” That rule is more important than anything else. It’s the reason Trump keeps getting his brains beat in and yet always comes out ahead. He’s bloody, dizzy and staggering, but his arms are raised in victory. You can’t beat Trump, because you can’t outlast Trump.

The other big winner was Brett Kavanaugh. The vicious, soulless, American left tried to destroy him, ruin him, eviscerate him. They never imagined a wimpy, middle-aged, judge from Yale had it in him to fight back like a no-holds-barred street brawler. But Kavanaugh studied Trump. He learned from Trump.

All his brilliance, eloquence and fancy Yale education didn’t win the Supreme Court for Kavanaugh. He had to take off the suit, get down in the mud and fight for it. Kavanaugh channeled the “Trump Rules.”

If you want something in life, you’ve got to fight for it. Just as Trump proved, once you’re on the other side of the battle, with your hands raised, it is all worth it. The ugliness, lies and slander are all forgotten. All that matters is they call you Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh.

The final winner was the entire GOP. Republicans have always been the party of wimps, cowards and “nice guys who finish last.” Trump changed all that.

This isn’t your father’s GOP. This is the party of Trump. This is now a party of brawlers, head-bangers and New York street fighters. Heck, even our judges are willing to get in the ring and go 12 rounds!

I’m from the streets of New York. This is my kind of political party. This is Trump’s party.
