Absolutely UNREAL!!! Are all Powerball winners from Kentucky insane?!? Certainly seems like it. I guess the real question is how long will it be before the media reports this guys death?

$1.7 BILLION: Will Powerball create a Christmas billionaire?
'Luckily' Kentucky followed Indiana in offering Double Play. From what I can see on PB website they don't have those results, perhaps to avoid confusion? Let's hope they don't make it mandatory and raise the price from $4 to $5 in 2026.
Anyway, Merry Christmas, Frohe Weinachten, Feliz Navidad, Happy Kwanzaa or just simply Happy Holidays!

New Jersey resident says no thanks to road rage, wins $600,000 lottery prize instead
Is your pick 3 RNG????
Kentucky lottery folks were down the road last week and guy told me statewide folks complain all the time about us switching to RNG. Said RNG cost $100K/year whereas mechanical balls cost over $400K....make it make sense to me.

Indiana legislature rejects bill for online lottery ticket sales
Thankfully Kentucky lottery has this option. Last night in the single digits here played on line. An email came saying I won $100 on Pick 3!
To this day you cannot play Mid-day and Evening draws @ the same time. No biggie, come out and go back in for the other drawing.
Still many offers are brick and mortar only. The $10 Mega millions on a single ticket through 03 FEB 26 yields a plain old $2 Powerball.

Colorado Lottery approves credit card purchases and online ticket sales
IDK about other states but here in Kentucky when I use my card (rarely) it only charges me the $10.00. I'd guess the lottery picks up the 1-2% service charge for the transaction. I never use my debit card.
For the third year in a row GA lotto machines say 'coming soon debit/credit'. Found one machine so far that had been upgraded, however it didn't work. They also are VERY slow in upgrading their highway billboards. Only one that we saw had the million/billion jackpots electronic. All

Data breach at lottery tech vendor Brightstar exposes personal info of over 100,000 individuals
Just happened to click on a greyed out area of the Kentucky lottery website. Said 18 people who won a trip in 2017 2018 Wheel of Fortune scratch tickets were possibly affected.
Starting my journey with the VA (28 years too late) was griping all the security steps one has to take, through a private vendor, after reading this well worth it.
Historically don't pay much attention to companies that I have small investments in, and sure enough IGT now Brightstar.
