The Florida Millionaire Raffle is back!
232407 tickets sold as of 05/08, up 18219 from last Friday's sales update from Florida Lottery. At 69 days in, that averages 3368 sold per day. If sales proceed at this rate, it will be around 411000 total sold by the end of the raffle. I may buy anther one before the next drawing...

The Florida Millionaire Raffle is back!
Bought a ticket yesterday...two clerks in the same store weren't familiar with the raffle! What's that all about? How does it work? My ticket number was 144,5XX. I dunno... looks to me like The Florida Lottery has some work to do if they want to sell even a million tickets. G5

The Florida Millionaire Raffle is back!
My state had a raffle last year. I enjoyed playing. If I was close to Florida. I would definitely buy a ticket. The live drawing seems good to. My state it was computer generated i think...I am confused by how many tickets they sell versus pay outs. Mabye I'm reading it wrong. But anyways.... Good luck if your playing. And have a great day!

Lottery Post's guide to 2025 holiday raffles across the USA
I saw that there was a raffle but didn't know about the early bird options. No promotions about early bird, the ticket I got yesterday doesn't say anything about it either, typical MDLottery. So I got lucky buying early.

Lottery Post's guide to 2024 holiday raffles across the USA
Thanks for posting. Kind of a shame that big lottery states don't have a raffle. Do hope that there is a Powerball Rockin' NY Eve promotion again!

The Florida Millionaire Raffle is back!
It is a very good thing from a players perspective. Where can players find lower odds to win a million dollars? Remains to be seen if there will be a last minute rush to buy raffle tickets. (Hope not!) June 30 is when ticket sales end. Final drawing for 10 one million dollar top prize winners is July 2nd. I have to believe the winning numbers will be generated by a computer. (RNG software). G5

Impact of "Free Money" on Lottery Spending
Just had a thought.... I really do hope I win a million bucks with one of those two extra raffle tickets I bought. That'd really twist some of those old fogies cajones real good if they knew I won a million using THEIR money. Hell, they couldn't stand it when they saw me puttin' those 40 singles I took outta the pot and put 'em in my pocket. Just think how they'd feel if they heard I put a million bucks in my bank account by using their Left Right Center money. G5

The Florida Millionaire Raffle is back!
I'll be getting fewer tickets going forward, because I definitely think that the best shot at winning something was in the first round. Before awareness spreads, and before the million dollar fever sets in. I think that sales will increase as people come to find out about the raffle. Winning something meaningful enough (the prizes between 5k and 100k) won't be as easy . The million dollar draw odds aren't bad for a big sum, but it's still a shot in the dark. The tickets are pricey for still

Holiday Raffle!
While I was living in New York, I couldn't wait for The PA Millionaire Raffle to be announced in October. It was about an hour's drive over to PA for me to buzz across I-84 and buy them. For multiple years I made many trips to PA. I organized a pool and the pool bought quite a few of them. None of the tickets I bought ever won a dime. On one trip to PA, I bought a bunch and decided to sell them to people I knew. I sold one of the tickets to my brother. (I held them in my hand like a fan , a

Numerous State Lottery holdouts
Always thought it was common knowledge if there are 1000 different outcomes, each have a 1 in 1000 chance of being drawn. We both know because of the payoff structure, the desired outcome must be drawn twice in 1000 drawings just to break even. It's similar to a raffle that sells 1000 chances each for a dollar, keeps $500, and pays the winner $500. Most legal lotteries publish annual reports and some show how much was wagered on each game and how much was paid out. Many sell over $1 million
