what are the odds
If you're playing 10 games for 14 consecutive days on a straight-only ticket, your odds of winning are 140::1,000, or 1::7.14.
If you're playing the same way over 28 consecutive days, your odds of winning are 1::3.57.
If you're playing a box or straight/box ticket your odds will vary depending on whether your ticket has a double or not.
In any case your expected rate of return - i.e. payout percentage - is still the same, usually around 50%, depending on what the payouts are.

International super lottery to create jackpots of $500 million or more
Well, the post states International super lottery to create jackpots of $500 million or more
If this game is to originate in Europe as does Euromillions and will be multi-national, then, what you see, is what you get. $500million. This provided you're the sole winner!
As I live in California, my game here is mega millions. Which is the game I play with greatest fervor. So, when the jackpot reaches about $60 to $80 million, I'm seeing $30-40 million net. Thereabout anyway! A $500 million j

Developing a winning MegaMillions System
The equation I use is basically:
N = number of occurances
T = total drawings (337 in this case)
L = last hit
ABSOLUTEVAL( (T/N) - (L+1) ) = DUE
This way if a number averages once every 10 drawings and was drawn 9 draws ago, it's due value is 0. I take the absolute value so that numbers with similar positive due and negative due (1 and -1) values are rated equally, then oder from min to max. The top 10 picks are the top 10 closest to 0, and the bottom 11 are numbers furthest from 0

I don't agree that Gail Howard books help people win; they have wheels that get you to play multiple tickets which would increase your odds anyway even if they were multiple QP instead. I think one suggestion in the booklet said to hang around lucky people and that one method would guarantee you would win something but it required that you matched the Bonus Ball and not giving any help on how to match it.
I would play a World Lottery if it paid me in $ and not Stonesylvanian Krupeks or Ameros

Don't get me wrong, I meant it more as a generalization. If say, 450,000 people play the Cash3 each drawing, and 360,000 play numbers with really no system in mind, 60,000 people using a system that doesn't work and 5,000 using a system that does work about 66% of the time and another 25,000 using a system that works about 10% of the time, now keep in mind, I have no idea how many actually play, but it is just a very rough estimate on my part. You still have to figure in overall odds. Figuring i

Is there a "Lottery Ego?"
I'm not sure it's because these people (whoever they might be) don't seem to get it but that they don't believe a model exists for a random game.
What you refer to in the insurance industry is called Risk Pooling the Law of Large Numbers. It's the basic principle that the larger the number of individual risks combined into a group, the more certainty there is in predicting the degree or amount of loss that will be incurred in any given period. Of course nobody can predict the exact day a per

How do I prove my state lottery's CGNs are fixed?
How you prove is rigged? whenever you see in Powerball combinations that have four 6's, or four 3's, or four 2's or four 8's , etc, etc twice in less than 1 month...What do I mean? if you see the combination 6, 16, 26, 36 42 (with four 6's on it) and if you see such a combination play twice in 1 month or 2 months or 3 months, then your game is rigged....
If you also see four 5's and multiples of it and by that i mean if you see 5, 15, 20, 30, and then a number, and if you see this appear 2 ti

best pick 6 sytem
Odds for a 6/40 game with 3,838,380 possible combinations
MATCH ODDS WINNING COMBOS
6/6 1 : 3838380 1
5/6 1 : 18816 204
4/6 1 : 456 8415
3/6 1 : 32 119680
2/6 1 : 6 695640
The odds are what they are and software or a system is not going to change them, but it could be worst. West Virgina has a 6/25 game that some predictors do well at picking winners.

OK dbello...let's give it a shot.
I have # 7 Big Brown (1/2) on top no matter what angle I look at it from. He will win this race, barring injury or poor racing luck. However he's not facing a bunch of chumps and he has twelve to beat. I have his fair odds at 4/1. (His fair odds in the Derby were 3/1.) The morning line has him at 1/2 which is probably pretty close to closing odds. But that's a severe underlay and not a smart bet.
So let's look for some gimmick opportunities...My second cho
