Not where you buy, but what game you buy. The worse the odds, the worse your chances to win. The better the odds, the better your chance to win.

You are 100% correct. Unfortunately when the odds get really good the tickets are often hard to find. States play games like this too when they just phase out tickets when the odds get really good. That being said I like to keep my eye out for the good ones, especially if I'm traveling and am passing through smaller towns/gas stations.

The odds of winning are the same, but the odds of sharing the jackpot are higher.. It is like in NZ a lotto official said that there were usually about 3,000 tickets with 1,2,3,4,5,6 ... When picking your own numbers, people want a logical reason... Birthdays is another (so more likely to share prizes/ jackpots if the numbers are 1 - 31.

No, the neighborhood doesn't matter. What does matter though is that wealthier people can afford to cut their odds by buying multiple tickets per draw.

Spot on. The raw odds don't lie. Most people just burn money chasing individual picks blindly. That's why backtesting past densities and filtering out statistically trash combinations is the only way to play smart, even if it's just to minimize the damage lol.
