Thanks long odds but the media is owned by hedge funds who want it to go down. Markets get manipulated all the time and media spreading news to create fear and make people sell. Do you think that the lottery cares which game causes you to give them your money? There's nothing wrong with the OP's basic premise (or yours), in that players as a whole would be better off if $50 or $100 million of annual jackpot prize money went to 50 or 100 otherwise losing players instead of to the few people who would still win the jackpots. The way I envision this working is you'd start with whatever amount of history you wanted for all the games being tracked. Then, when you manually add today's draw data, you can run a report that would look at the odds profile for the numbers that had come up during a period of time the user could specify (let's say for at most the past 7 draws). Thanks. I rarely play either. Instead of trying to hit the jackpot playing so many number. I believe it would be a good idea to just play 10 numbers and go on the same power ball on all of them and multiply and the odds are only 1:38 so if it won with 10 numbers you would profit for that particular draw and still have a chance to hit the jackpot and wouldn't loose ever time.
