Audit reveals 'questionable' Colorado Lottery wins
Auditors said the odds of winning that many times is about one in 33 million.
We have two members, one with 18 hits on the Colorado pick-3 and the other with 15 in last 30 days so I'm guessing the auditor's odds for doing that is about 12 times higher?

The problem with systems
What it really comes down to, is to play you have to put numbers on play slips and those numbers have to come from somewhere. Sure it's easy to say Quick Picks are just as good as any system, until you pay, look and groan.
The thing with systems, is the good ones give some hope that this time it's going to work. Like all good snake oil the projected results look promising. It feels better to work with the numbers and there is absolutely no proof your numbers are not going to win. There is

Florida Fantasy 5
Sam, you are correct. I think that more Floridians like the instant gratification of the scratch-offs and Florida offers some of the best odds on scratch-off prizes in the country. In truth, most people have figured out that you can buy $100 in PB or MM tickets and likely end up with $4-$10 back. However, buying $100 in scratch-offs usually yields you $40-$60 unless you get very lucky or unlucky. And top prizes in the $10-$20 scratch-offs range from $2M to $5M which is still life-changing for mo

Super Raffle/Best Michigan games ever?
Yep, I do believe that since it is Michigan only that you don't have to have your name released.
As far as the Prizes, I believe that the Raffles have a 60% payout which would make the top three prizes $2,600,000 cash and $1,300,000 and $1,300,000 cash.
I believe the Michigan $30 scratchers are $2,538,068 cash with odds of 2 million to 1. The $20 scratchers are about $1,269,034 with odds of about 2 million to 1. Also, very few (like 1 or maybe 2) of the $20, and $30 scratchers have e

Florida Scratch Offs - Post Pictures if posible
Over here in VA the 30$ scratchers suck too.... There's 4 top prizes of 10 mil, 12 prizes of 1 mil, like 100 prizes of 4k and from there it drops to 500$ where the odds of even that are 1 in 3000. The only good odds are 1 in 62 for 200 and 1 in 12 for 100. Everything else sucks.
The only other good thing is that we have rolls of 20 tickets and it's pretty much guaranteed that you'll get a minimum of 6 up to 8 winners per roll. So if you were to buy 10 and only get a 30$ winner, you know

What's your lottery Goal?
Seems to me you may have needed two polls, one for what they're shooting for and one for what they actually want. There are only a few people here stating their goal is a win with a limited dollar value, but so many seem to be playing for a limited amount based on the odds, not because that's what they would prefer. They want a bigger win but they're going with practicality and so will settle the smaller amount.
To clear up any confusion, I'm not playing for a limited sum. I want a large jac

The odds question
The overall probability (lottery odds) is exactly the same.
However, if the probability of knowing 2 of the 49 numbers is very, very high; say near 100%,
then hypothetically the probability (lottery odds) drops closer to 1 in 7431.875.

Second chance odds
Best strategy is to have your entries well distributed. Follow the instructions carefully, look for any opportunity such as being allowed to use a slightly larger or colored envelope in case the drawing isn't totally blind.
While sometimes the best odds are to put everything into one attempt, if you lose the rest of the drawings will be zero odds in your favor.
