Cops bust long-running illegal Philly 'street lottery'
To OneTrickpony- Presumably, based on the PA Lottery numbers drawn. Keeps it simple, and provides much assurance the results are fair. Overall, far as lotteries go, PA Lottery is among the better ones. While not getting my hopes up, it wouldn't surprise me if they eventually raise the Pick-X payouts. Likely not directly, but through various add-ons, such as Wildball, which improves overall payback to 55%. Lotteries have to grow revenue while protecting their margins. Add-on upselling is a way

Thanks! I bought a couple of those cards when they first came out and won nothing...have you looked at the odds. ....for any win it's one in 9.45 and for a win of $50 or $100 it's one in around 25 which are the worst odds NC has ever had on any card...after I read that I have not bought any more of them so you are very lucky to get that win!

Texas
If you click on a particular ticket on TLC's website, there is a wealth of info, such as odds, overall odds, how many prizes have been claimed for all prize levels, etc. I'm not necessarily a conspiracy theorist, but it DOES seem like there are more top prizes won in the Houston area, and in south Texas in general. Then again, there are more people down there than up here in north Tx.

What's up guys? I drastically cut back playing. Only been buying the $5 Full of Crap on fill ups and today we checked out the new Walmart Neighborhood Market that opened in the Villages yesterday on CR 466A to see if they sent any good rolls. Nope, still duds. I think I've played now a total of 10 of these $5 crap tickets since the game came out and haven't even won $5 back. It's pathetic. Given what the FL Lotto is doing changing disclosure rules there doesn't seem to be a legit audit sys

Calif SuperLotto vs. MegaMillon -- You Choose!
Calif Super Lotto is at $16 million and MegaMillion is at $15 million -- close enough. While odds for MM are around 259 mil to one and the odds to Superlotto are around 42 mil to one, for the pass 2-3 years, SuperLotto averages a winner only every 6-9 months. So, if you had a dollar to spend, which one would you choose??

Winning match5 strategy for West Virginia (WV) Cash 25
Yes saw the odds.......really not bad odds...I see the prizes only begin a 3nrs.Still not bad as 25 nrs is nothing.Raven62 this is really not a bad lottery to play -you wont retire from it but for cash flow its a good one. Very impressive for them to split the money among the second division prizes. I have read about the California lotto plus that keep rolling - I would much rather play a lottery where I see jackpots go than a lottery that keep rolling -Those Directors have their hand in the coo

Winning match5 strategy for West Virginia (WV) Cash 25
Are you playing this Raven62 ? Look the odds are so much smaller and the jackpots go quite frequent -I just went on their site. Although a small amount thats a very easy lottery with lower odds (low skips)......Ok I hear what you say not easy.....but winnable VERY POSSIBLE if you know your stuff. Pity the jackpots are so low I would use thelotter and have a go at it but it wont be worth it -just imagine thelotter taking their cut too - I will fly down to the USA for a $10 000 prize lol P

For those looking to hit a true lifer changer, the odds aren't bad. The odds of hitting the 10k, and 20k prize tiers are meh. I bought some scratchers today, and got my ass kicked. The winning tickets are not in Gainesville right now. When someone buys $300 worth of tickets, and gets $40 back...that leaves a very nasty taste in their mouth. Bought 10 of the $10 Wheel of Fortune, got only one $20 winner. Bought 10 $20 Gold Rush, and only got $20 back with 9 losers. (5 from two different

@oldghost - You're right. I guess that means it will take another 3 years until the 7th one is claimed. On a side note, I'm curious to see the odds on the new $20 $10k/week for life. The 20 year payout is $10,400,000. When the lotto people discount it, I'm sure it will still be about $7.5M for a lump sum. That is more than twice that lump sum amount for the $5M prize on any current $20 ticket. I suspect to see top prize odds close to 1 in 7.5M. Also, I bet it will kill sales for the old

I think they just removed them from the website because they are not considered a top prize . I recently received an instant liability report for the game and it confirms that there are still 4 of the $1M/$50k prizes left. Their webmaster is a joke. On a side note, I am also interested in the $20 $10k/week for life game. I'm curious to see the top prize odds and if they have a substantial second place prize. If the odds are not terrible, that may all but put the old $20 L4L to rest.
