Who thinks we will get another EVEN digit this afternoon in the 3rd position? x x EVEN ?
9 evens in a row can happen but the odds are very thick for odd today. It can happen, but the odds are for not.
If you go soft with another even there today and get it, well then it s a double dog Dare to do it again Friday.

How soon till the next $ Billion $ Jackpot?
And that is exactly what Powerball had intended on happening. Increasing the odds of winning the jackpot to drive up the top prize and create a lotto frenzy.
With the new Powerball odds structure, the jackpot (unless won) will hit $1 billion after approximately 13-15 drawings.
Of course $40 mil might be enough for some, if not most people, but the bigger the pot, the bigger the dream.

Increasing draw numbers
While we are selecting winning numbers from the amount now available for selection on that recent power ball prize it's self explanatory why the prize got so ridiculously high. When this scenario happened with the UK lottery the format was so unpopular with the public they later reverted the game back to fewer numbers which still gave a worthwhile prize after a moderate number of rollovers. After all most people who play the lottery are needy not greedy. Lets face it nobody needs over a billion

Lottery Odds.
Odds, chances ... play?
Your odds are pretty simple for pick 3. 1000 combinations to win and the payout is 500 for straight. Playing 999/1000 combinations, you still can lose the bet.
Good luck!

Billion Dollar Powerball winning number AGREES with Dr.Miracle's Theory
Wheel 30 numbers and win $500, pure genius
5 numbers out of 30 is 142,506 so the loss is $142,006 not counting the 4 $5 winners for getting 3 of 5 right
The odds of picking 4 number is 1 in 52,000 so random chance would get you about 3 $500 winners
What are the odds that someone could post 142,506 combinations and only get 4 of 5 numbers on a single ticket?

The "Holy Grail"
It's a closed number universe, the odds can not change no matter what you do.
A strategy improves the odds in some draws balanced by making it impossible to win in others.
You decide when to apply a strategy, the choices you make determine whether you win or lose.

quiz pick-4 daily game odds
Teaser.
The odds for hitting a pick-3 straight are 1 in 1000, so the odds for hitting 3 of 4 in a pick-4 should be less than 1 in 1000.
True or false.

Scratch offs verse Drawings
Ive always done better with scratchers. I also try to not only buy 1 of whatever I am getting. (I get at least 3 of whatever I am getting) The lower amount tickets have lower odds, the more expensive the ticket, the odds improve a little.
About 2 months ago I had a fairly successful string of $3 tickets of the same game. I think out of the 8 tickets I got, I won over $90. But I have been on a cold spell since they refilled the tickets. Waiting a while to get closer to the middle of the stack

Don't You Find It Interesting?
This is just a fleeting thought.. but don't you find it interesting how this PB jackpot managed to grow with no winner for like 18 drawings, even though they raised the numbers by 10 which increased the odds dramatically?
Don't you think that is the the reason why there were no winners? If you increase the odds of winning, it becomes more difficult to win, no?
If they decreased the matrix by 10 numbers, then what you wrote would make sense.
