Georgia Lottery Scratch Offs
You know, I always had better luck playing the Georgia Lottery than I do the South Carolina Lottery. I think their games...especially the older games have exceptional odds. Hitting $500 for me in SC is like $10,000 anywhere...it's few and far in between. I've only hit $500 twice in SC (once last year and once in 2012) where as I've already hit a few $200, $500 and $1,000 playing Georgia tickets.
I would say if you cross the border play the Cash Spectacular ticket (if you want to play a high d

How Random is Random?
I don't believe there will ever be a mathematical formula to produce the winning combination.
Neither do I, like you I think my best hope is to find a system that reduces my odds of having all the winning numbers in a single line. That could be done by reducing the number pool, limiting particular numbers to unique positions in combinations along with other limiting parameters. Right now I'm looking at which numbers followed numbers in previous drawings which has been looked at by others in

Who plays more, who loses more?
Two people can spend different amounts on the same game while looking for the same payout/prize.
I was on a Craps table betting $5 line bets with double odds and two $5 Come bets with double odds and a player next to me was betting exactly the same way, but his bets were $500. When we both quit, his winnings (or losses) were 100 times more than mine.
Coin Toss' example could be changed to a one ticket buying SP player winning the same jackpot as a 25 ticket buying QP player. If I buy 25

How Random is Random?
Amen bobby.
I get weary with the a-holes who keep saying PB and MM are rigged.
Odds of hundreds of millions to one, and they're rigged??? With odds like those, they don't HAVE to rig them. And forget about predicting, except for blind luck, period.

Post your scratch ticket results
I had a break but started playing closer to the new ones, though I doubt they will be any better than what has been out. The $5 tickets are awful when I play them. It's like they are the new big money maker for the state. At the Limerick Giant, $2 was left in the machine so I got a $100 Frenzy. The 2 $5 tickets lost as usual, but the $2 ticket won $15. Glad it was a free winner, but $15 was a bit of an insult considering the $15 odds vs. the $100 odds.
Congrats to the winners! Tormentor, I do

Mass Cash
First time here - a newbie --- am a Mass Cash addict.
Would like to read other's thoughts and suggestions about Mass Cash.
a concern With the odds of 324,000 to 1 on any 5 digit number, which to me is the most sensible lottery game (odds) to consider playing, I have a difficult time accepting that some folks actually buy more than one ticket on the same 5 digit combination. It is very difficult to pick a 5 digit winner, but some winners have won one the same day 2,3,4 up to 9 tickets on

Powerball Odds This October
I'm one of those second prize players who played PB with Powerplay regularly. It used to get so upset when I would read about the second place winners only winning a million when they could have won 2 million if they put down the extra dollar! I decided not to play PB any longer unless the jackpot is very high. I'm not waiting until October, I got out cold turkey, I figured why should I keep rewarding them with my money knowing they ruined the game for me.
Anyway, I played the NYLotto game in

Powerball changing in October to generate bigger jackpots
0 IN 292,201,338 VERSUS 1 IN 292,201,338 TO WIN THE JACKPOT.
I play only to win the big jackpot, regardless of the odds. I only buy a ticket or two. There is not much difference between 1 or 100 in 292,201,338 but there is a huge difference between those odds and 0 in 292,201,338. In other words not much reason to buy several tickets, just one. RAY

another change to Powerball
Ignore the first posts in the thread, as that planned matrix was tossed due to the MMC disaster.
Latest version starts here: https://www.lotterypost.com/thread/283852/4132234
Bottom line is that the jackpot odds are getting worse, nearly all prizes are staying the same, and a 10X multiplier is being added to PowerPlay, conditional on the jackpot size. Jackpot is also getting more of the sales allocation pie, and the lotteries hope that the higher odds + higher share will increase jackpot s
