CA Lottery - California Love - CA Lottery Scratchers
I hope to achieve similar results. Based on the odds winning $25 is almost the same as $100. Not sure how the odds work on the scratchers these days, particularly the 20X Crossword $10 game where $100 is easier to win than $60 or $75.

Illinois Lottery kicks off new 'Hit or Miss' game
The overall chances of winning something in both games is 22% so players can expect to have 1 winning ticket out of every 5. IMO, the problem is with the game is not the quantity of wins, but the quality of wins. I predict 20 All or Nothing lines in all four drawings every day and because my ID is at the bottom of the list, I see all the other All or Nothing predictors' results. The majority of the wins are $2 with several $10 winners, but very few $50 winners. When you compare this game with

Illinois Lottery kicks off new 'Hit or Miss' game
If you play 24 draws a week on this game you will win back about 25-40% of what you bet, unless you hit the $500 in Tx ($250 in IL) or better. Obviously, that's a rare occurance. In just about every draw here, there are anywhere from 1 to maybe 4 $500 winners, sometimes none. I do best just playing 2 or 3 times a week. And yes, most of the time you will have 5,6 or 7 numbers which pay nothing. That's how the game is set up. The biggest thing about this game besides the jackpot compared to the

The ONLY real answer to the Pick 3
The Pick 3 is the ,logical, game of choice. This is because it provides the best chance of winning and making money. So, why is this ,simple, game so hard to beat? The reason is three-fold: The odds are stacked against you ,from the start, with odds of 1000:1. The restriction placed on the game due to the payout structure. You can only play so many numbers ,and no more, if you want to profit. We don't go about the game the right way.

Rollover probabilities for Powerball at $400M annuity.
There is no mathematically legitimate way to declare the expectation value as undefined because the odds are large. I didn't say the EV was undefined. As I said in my original reply: The EV for the PB/MM return is 0.5 and does not change. You wanna talk about the return for a single draw, that is one thing, but that is not the same as the EV for the game. The odds and prize share percentage do not change, and the rollovers and variable jackpots are just part of the game and the long term aver

Do some people not care how much they spend on lottery and feel it will be worth it if you win?
What you so very expertly described in your second paragraph is called coverage by lottery officials. If 50% of all the possible 175 million combinations have been purchased ( covered ), then there's a 50% chance someone will win the jackpot. With most drawings, coverage is far less than 50%, that's why jackpots aren't won and grow. There's an online game here in New York that The Lottery freely admits has a coverage problem . Very rarely is a jackpot won. Although the odds of winning one

This Should Be a Lesson to People That Spent Over $1000 Playing
I've never understood the logic behind players spending hundreds of dollars on tickets. When I was growing up, my mother use to tell me that she only bought one ticket per drawing, and her reasoning was that her one ticket has just as much a chance to win then the person who bought a hundred. As I got older, I now understand what she meant. With the odds for powerball at 1 and 175 million and Mega Millions being the same, if people really thought about the impossible odds of winning, they would

Connecticut Lottery chairman says keno in early stages
So even after 20 years no one can win $1,000,000? Just remember, the odds they post may not be the odds you get. Also, I LIKED Keno a lot. I won $1,600 almost right away. I was very depressed when I realized it seemed Fixed . I explained it all above, believe what you will. All I did was say what happened to me and a friend. I have no desire to bash something I see that is on the level. However, if it is not... Isn't that what these posts are for, to tell our side?
