How many play numbers to win at Pick 3 ?
If you break it down in terms of odds create your list of numbers in proportion to the odds factor in each group.
That way you are not focusing on one particular group to hit.
Make your best choice in each group to fill the percentage of numbers needed in a group.

Post your scratch ticket results
Finally came out of my losing streak yesterday. I got a couple of $100 wins and this below.
First time hitting $500 on this 100X ticket. The odds of getting it are very good, like 1:100. Crazy thing is on the 20th Anniversary ticket the odds are 1:200 and I have gotten 5 $500 wins on those! I have had a great year hitting $500. Before this year I have only had one $500 win. Just this year I have had 6 in a matter of about 4 months. Hope everyone else's luck will change on here too. I

Better to play all your picks in ONE Day?
Can you beat the ODDs Dude ?
Odds Dude says ......you should only expect one hit per week playing 30 box singles per day......or 210 per week. (which ever comes first)

how many plays before you give up ?
Check the odds if you want to know how long to play a set of numbers before giving up on them.
For example, if the odds are 1:175,000,000 and you're playing a set 10 then you could play them 175,000,000/10 times before one of them might win. If ones hasn't won by then give up on them.
I personally prefer to play a different set every drawing.

Why so few lottery pool winners these days - is there not strength in numbers?
There are more individual players than there are pools. I run a pool with 20 people on powerball but we only play it when it is 100 million. With 20 people for 40 million jackpot with the cash option being around 23 million with the odds of winning, I have a better chance with the state lotto with 10 people with far better odds, and only cost me $1 instead of $2.
Can you imagine how many lottery pools were formed or contributed to with this last go- round and they failed to land the big One?

Texas Lottery suspends sales for 'All or Nothing' game
Nobody has come up with a winning a scheme, because the game is random and has fixed prizes. The problem is that in this game they advertise that the prizes are guaranteed. There's no escape hatch when they get an unusually high number of winners, and some idiot designed it so that it exposed them to the possibility of an extremely high number of winners.
There are about 2.7 million combinations for a 12 of 24 game. That makes the odds of having all or nothing 1 in 1.35 million, and the prize

Lottery Code has already been broken
You're the one who started it. Are you so stupid you can't even understand what odds are? Have you ever been in a casino? Do you think they offer you the exactly a 38 : 1 payout for betting on 0 in roulettes just because there are 38 numbers?
Just because the event itself is 50/50 doesn't mean the odds offered are double or nothing . You could offer 10:1 payout or 0.00001:1 payout. You can't even understand that and you want to argue with me? And you're comparing the lottery to a fully d

I'm LOSING MY MIND! (step away from the numbers, Cindi!)
I need to rephrase..i won't be playing on a regular basis like I do now...I might contribute a couple (and I do mean just a COUPLE) of dollars when the jackpot is EXTREMELY high, but I will not be helping build it up to that point.....
The odds are just TOO HIGH for my interest!
@RJOH--Yeah, alot of people do have to eat their words....I personally just do not have the finances to invest in playing MM on a regular basis with such high odds...Nor would I be interested... As I mentioned

Anyone wonder how much money they would have if they hadn't played the lottery?
Hello,
The other day I was thinking how much money I ended up throwing out by having played the lottery over these past 3 years. I've never truly counted what I spent when I played but it would be great to have that money back. The last few months I've cut way down on playing (though I wasn't addicted or anything like that). It feels good to be able to go weeks or more without playing and know that I haven't thrown out my money to end up losing like I usually do. Don't get me wrong I'm not gi

IL $20 50X The Cash Ticket Statement of Odds
Yeah, that doesn't seem right. If so, that's the best odds I've ever seen on a JP prize for a scratcher ticket in IL.
It is a $20 ticket though...
$10 Good Life JP is 1 in 6,600,000... annuitized amount over 20yrs would net $10,400,000... so the odds could be right for the 50X ticket. That ticket costs twice and much as the GL and the JP is less than half of the GL JP... just guessing here though.
