Like you I have been chasing the Forture as about 14 top prizes are still remaining... I haven't had much luck on that since past 2 weeks though...so I was tempted with the new 20x crossword and won a $75 prize 2 days back....
also I won a $100 in the $2 LFL a few months back and that was a 1 in 4500 odds prize...thats the highest odds I have ever won.

Mega Millions multi-state lottery to get harder to win in Oct.
Let's see, there is 316,000,000 people in the U.S. The odds of winning are 258,900,000 to one. So if you were to eliminate
the population of California... And then, if every single person in the country bought one ticket apiece with different #'s. You
would have one winner. Just putting the odds in perspective... At that rate why even bother buying a ticket?

Some say........ don't waste money on Doubles or Trips.
Today the odds are with those folks ......because the last 3 draws midday have been straight doubles. Even Combined.... Eve and Mid draws the last draws were all Doubles.
Anything can happen in P3 .....but, if you think that way your going to lose more than you win.
Luck is a very rare thing ........odds not so much. LOL

New the board.
Welcome to the forum!!!
The **ONLY** way you can improve your odds is to buy more tickets! The odds is just a calculation of the number set, including how many plays you have in the game.
As far as picking numbers that seem like might do better ... I think that picking numbers based on the stats of previous drawings is a good idea.

Is there anything we can believe in...at least Most of the time?
What actually Happens Most of the time .?....... is a good place to start with any of these games.
Playing smart... is playing the ODDS ...and playing the odds is playing what happens Most of the time
Have we learned? Are we growing here? What's new? Sssup ? LOL

is anyone making an income from lottery
I tried doing that by showing if pick-3 games paid the winnings by the true odds, the top fifty lifetime predictors would all show a profit. I thought it was obvious it was possible to outperform the 50% of the true odds pick-3 games pay off even if that means playing at a loss. If the question is can they show a profit , the prediction board shows a much smaller percentage, but still making it possible for at least one player to make an income from lottery play.
If a player can average 120.7

Two retired Tibetan Sisters reveal Secret Numbers
Nothing new here. This story has been around for several years.
By eliminating repeating numbers (doubles and triples) you significantly change the odds in your favor. The list is 56 number sets and if you bet those every day you should have quite a few box hits and a few straights. Also note that every time a double or triple comes up, you lose $56 (if you play $1 on each number set). Doubles come up more than many people realize.
If this is back tested long enough, the amount won a

California - Highway Robbery in Progress
Another player in another state could have won $2 million playing the same five numbers with a $3 PowerPlay ticket. Had two players spent $4 playing the same five numbers in Cali, each ticket is worth $650,000. The $1.3 million winner not only had to beat those odds, but had to beat the odds against multiple winners. The Cali lottery officials will say it's because California regulations are different and many other Cali's regulations are different than in other states.
Since it only effects

if "someone" found a way to beat the lottery wheel-would you label that cheating?
Must agree with the astute Coin Stack's views on topic
Aside of technacalities, I would like to share a humble take on insider gaming mangement mentality: all games are losing propositions are offered with posted losing odds as public entertainment called gambling. Therefore players who have legally or illegally gained an advantage thereby overcomed the expected game odds (other then pure luck)are not considered to be gambling eventually the game rules would be changed; or players wagering ac
