So true. I used the term nigerian email scam one time and was called a racist. I had to point out that this term was used on US and other nations official websites, etc.

I probably wouldn't watch and for the same reason I wouldn't watch weekly shows about retirees losing all their saving to a Nigerian lottery scam or to a ponzi investment. Besides, each show would be more of the same we spent way too much on frivolous stuff .

I think a lot of us knew this was a scam...although I thought they had killed the true winner. I wonder what they would have done if the true winner had said, no thanks, I want to show the ticket to my spouse , and left with the scratch off ticket?

So, this indefinate game was a SCAM by the State of New York. Getting people to buy worthless tickets. And you say other states do this too. Most people would go to jail for lottery fraud. But the STATE is not a person. I will never buy a scratch off ticket.

My calling him a 'New Member' was because we have met so many 'New Member' bragging about how they have a winning system yet they don't show us the proof. Most are fly by night scam artist trying to sell you something but we know better don't we. If he really had a winning system, I doubt he'll spend much time posting on here. He'll be in the tropics. To most humans, sharing is a natural quality we have. It's good for the soul.

Just woke up and seen cash 4 results and I'm heart broken 1000 crossed my mind but I went with 1001 thinking since Marge was retiring that she would drop this number and I went with I initially said I was going to put with every # for $.50 but after last night cash 3 scam I got discouraged. :-(

He likely wanted 100% profit from the ticket, so that greedy motivation is perhaps the reason he pocketed the winnings and left the ticket in circulation to be purchased by a customer. He probably said the ticket was defective and therefore not valid. This enabled him to balance his books and still make a decent profit from his scam. Enjoy jail and deportation to Pakistan (just my assumption).
