Do some number combinations have better odds?
So in your mind, If I win a coinflip, as an equivalent example, I can say my odds were 100% since it was achieved in 1 trial? Or if I win a roulette bet before 38 spins, I have better odds? Clearly you can see that that is flawed, and does not correspond with reality. You are free to have any opinion you want. That doesn't mean your opinion will be right. And when you start formulating opinions about facts, they should probabiliy not dispute those very same facts.

Do some number combinations have better odds?
We all know what the odds are and that odds never change. Sounds like you know all you need to know except how to win so I won't confuse you with my thoughts. Good luck to you.

NY Pick 10
Even with this correct prediction; I only got a 5 of 10. But.....I am sure that I bettered my odds for this draw. And I guess (bettering our odds consistently) can lead to some sort of level of hits. I did get a couple of (no numbers right) so I broke even again. Played $8 and Won back $8. Another good feature of this particular game. You win by being really wrong!

really?
You got one thing in your favor, your odds of ever having to do that are the same as your odds or winning a lottery jackpot. Chances are you'll never have to do that but if you do you'll be paying the same tax rate as someone who physically earned the same amount of money. The annuity amount doesn't exists, it's the expected returned if the cash is invested for 25-30 years and you only use a small potion of the cash during those years. It's like saying every time you spend $50 on a carton of

NY Pick 10
This has been my primary game for years now. It is the only Lottery game I know of where twice as many numbers are picked as needed to win the Jackpot. Plus there is no group split on the Jackpot. My favorite strategy has been to play all odds/evens. The real trick/problem in this game is when a number category drops out (teens, twenties etc.....) For the 1/9/13 draw...I forecast more odds.....and something is about to drop out.

Do some number combinations have better odds?
First of all, I shouldn't address the math errors (5 numbers on a 38 number wheel isn't 33 to 1..... not even close but w.e.) but you're right. I should have clarified that you never proved that you can change your odds PER TICKET. Obviously buying 1 ticket gives you half the odds of buying two, but that should go without saying. I really didn't think I needed to clarify that. I could do a bucha work to show how this is irrelevant, the stuff you are doing, but I know it'd be ign

Do some number combinations have better odds?
That's only true if you admit that on any day that you don't have your 5 right, your odds of winning are 0%. Your the one who refuses to admit things boney. I have openly stated many times that Im willing to GIVE UP my chances of winning on some draws so that on other draws....... Some number combinations have better odds............

Do some number combinations have better odds?
Discrediting yours or anybody else's remarks isn't part of my agenda and neither is supporting them. I come to LP to read and consider what other players are doing to improve their odds of winning and occasionally make a comment, not to rehash the logic that some have been preaching for years as good reasons to not play the lotteries. Lottery players know the odds of winning but that isn't going to change their minds about playing. Plenty of if and then in the logic of the members in th

Do some number combinations have better odds?
Long term is ten days. Short term is one day If I know when one number will score for sure, then by definition, my odds have gotten better, or improved, or changed. that's getting lucky within the odds.
