Do some number combinations have better odds?
NO the question did NOT get lost in the chaos of the thread.
Stack did an EXCELLENT job of articulating the answer in the SAME POST your WhinnnnIng about.
Because we know some groups of numbers HAD better odds in the past we can conclude there are groups that will have better odds in the future.
Thanks Stack for making a point about the topic.

When Do the Powerball Odds Tip?
I don't think the number of ticket sales can ever guarantee a jp winner. Even if 350 million tickets are sold that's no guarantee. But the odds tip in favor of it being won when over 50% of the possible combos are sold.
That said, as has already been mentioned in this thread, it appears as though the PB jackpot is won most often before the odds say it is probable. So if I want to play at all, I'll have to buy tickets based on some other random event. Like when my palms itch, or when I find

Exploring Popular Conspiracy Theories!!
Scratch tickets are actually produced by chimps who did poorly in math. That's why sometimes a $20 scratcher which normally has odds of 1:3,
will sometimes result in 1:10 odds. Now you know.
TIP: Most of the machine dispensed scratch tickets, were made by the more brighter chimps. Don't be a chump, buy these whenever possible!

Do some number combinations have better odds?
I was hoping you could post 28 numbers Stack, or at least give an idea of how you believe the odds can be cut by almost 4 times? I played all even numbers as a timing play.
I also believe we can BETTER our odds by choosing winning numbers.
What ideas do you have for winning combinations?

Anyone have experience in buying the entire roll?
I sell the lottery in my store in GA and we have several customers who buy books. All books come in $300 totals. So $1 tix there are 300 tix, $10 tix there are 30 etc. etc. etc. The new $20 ticket that comes out this tuesday is moving to $600 rolls, or 30 tickets. In my experience from selling the tickets and talking to the guys who buy the books, they pretty much lose on 90% of the books. There have been a few nice hits but nothing over $1000 on a single winner. You have to realize that the Lot

How are instant scratch off tickets printed and distributed equally
No, larger cities probably have more prizes in them because there are more places for more tickets to be sold thus more tickets ARE SOLD and the likelihood of prizes to be claimed within a larger city is greater. I live in Springfield, Illinois and the majority of instant winners come out of Chicago. You know why? Because Chicago has a few million more people and a few thousand more retailers than Springfield does, if Springfield had a rash of big prize winners I'm sure somene would cry foul.

Middle of tweeking this system ( PROFITS- Day 180 + $4,123)
THIS! This method of play is the best way to play in any lottery. It can be most easily adapted to Pick 3. I don't care about big payouts and small bets. To do so is foolish. I'm happy with having a few grand in my account to shoot with and making a consistent few hundred dollars per week. It does add up and the larger the bankroll then the worse odds you can play with and still garuntee a profit. Being exceptionally patient and disciplined is the key. I had over a thousand tied up in an online

Do some number combinations have better odds?
All excellent points Stack, but the objective as I have stared before is to hit a JP.
As great as turning a profit sounds like, not even I am crazy enough to attempt turning a profit by playing the lottery. lol. Trust me if I thought there was a way I would try it. The point is a person only has to win the JP once to turn a profit.
In my lines I'm playing now, if I can overcome the 1 in 38 odds against me I am now hoping I will also overcome the 1 in 46 odds against me, and hit on the numb

Do some number combinations have better odds?
In the example of all even numbers that RJ posted for me to see. Notice that the odds as a group (98,280 lines) are 2.6% overall. Also notice the consistency of the results of 41 times out of 1572 draws, which equal 2.6081%
Any group of 28 numbers has a 2.6% percent chance of matching all five numbers, but you're just taking about a unique easily identifiable group that matched the probability. Since there are many other 28 number groups that may double, triple or even quadruple the probabi
