Do some number combinations have better odds?
None more predictable.
Groups of lines simply change variance. There is no predicting a random event. If you could predict a random event more than the odds dictate, then it's not random.
Hell if you could predict it less than the odds dictate, it's not random.

Do some number combinations have better odds?
Upon actually doing the math, I figured the exact odds of getting either 5/5 or JP in 100,000 lines exactly is 1 in 38.19
But I just did it in TWO draws.
And I'm saying I can do it again. Not in two draws again (necessarily) but based on your post anything less than 38 draws gives me BETTER odds than what you say cant be improved upon.
Its just an experiment. What do you say?

Post your scratch ticket results
I thought about that also, but my main place has way too many tickets. It would truly be fun, but you could easily walk out of there with no winners.. I know the odds are the same if you buy one from each roll or 30 from one roll. Odds might be one thing, but probability is another. However I do like the one per roll approach especially if I am taking them home. If I buy 5-$20 tickets and bring them home to lose, I am tempted to run back. At least the 1 per roll approach leaves out the dreaded W

$100 on Powerball
The overall odd of any one ticket winning something is 1 in every 31.8 tickets sold so after buying 50 QPs, winning on two of those tickets only slightly exceeds the overall odds. The odds against any 50 tickets just breaking even (winning $100) are 245 to 1. By wheeling a group of numbers you could expect to get more than two winning tickets but only if enough of the numbers you choose are drawn. Brad Duke played his system of buying over 100 tickets a drawing for several months before he won.

$2 PB Jackpots Now Rising More Slowly Than $1 PB Jackpots Did.
Well, let's here...and analyze a bit. Now gas prices can go up and we get less gas for the same dollar but, this cool with Lucky 'cause I GOTTA HAVE IT to get around. Same with food...I gotta eat. I DO NOT HAVE TO HAVE POWERALL IN MY LIFE...and for this matter, Mega Millions either with these odds. They seem, in my opinion, to be comparing these games to actual necessities in life! WTF are they smoking?
This would be the opportune time to take a stand against all this madness. Why would any

PowerBall finally may has the edge it's been seeking
Always have the option of playing or not playing.
I play simply because even if I only win $100, that's a nice little hit that covers my cost of play for all the games for a month.
Heck, I bought a scratcher for $5 last week and hit for $100. Top prize was $100,000. So to me, $2 for a chance at millions is no big deal. And yeah, I know all about the odds. If I was that overcome with the odds, I wouldn't play ANY lottery game.

OH Classic Lotto
Now that #1 has been the lowest number two times in a row, based of past behavior it can be eliminated as on of the numbers for Saturday's drawing and since no number has ever followed such an event more than once seven other numbers can be eliminated as the lowest number in Saturday's drawing.
So far as my predictions has shown, I've hardly ever done better than a match3 in 10 lines following these trends, however matching 3 in 10 lines is better than 1:57 the normal odds of a match 3. Hope

When you buy scratch tickets do you buy from local places or do you travel to get them?
I'm a big city resident. Live here, play here.
I checked out the Illinois Lottery web site looking for odds on the $3mil game. Found none. I do see that only one remains on Cash Bonanza and I can only imagine that they guard the last one VERY closely as it will virtually end the game when it is redeemed.
What are the odds Coin Toss?
AZ Extreme Green distributes one $500k ticket per 240,000 printed.

How many people just buy one ticket for MM and PB?
It varies for me depending on where the JP is. The MM was just won, so I'll buy 1 ticket for a few draws. Like you, I also subscribe to the idea that you can't win if you don't play. Then when the JP gets up again I'll buy a couple per draw.
A guy I used to work with told me that (at that time 15 years ago) the odds were not good for the JP to be won until it was at 50 million. At that point, enough ticket combos were sold for each draw that the odds were in favor of the JP being won. So tha

Will Powerball officials concede?
Since 10 chances of winning $80 million is better than 5 and the cash value of MM is higher, if given only one choice, I'd play MM. p p
I agree. Why half your chances of winning? PB 2nd prize odds are same as before 1:5.1m for $1m. All the hooting about lowering from 195m to 175m is bogus as no improvement over MM odds, but price is double. huh? logic here escapes me. p
If Sweetmillion is cancelled, then I might play PB just for the chance of $1m, not for the jp.
