Who is going to play the new game "Lucky for Life" in New England?
Hi, I'm just curious who is going to play the new lottery game Lucky for Life in New England. I've been reading up on this new game just wish they were not charging 2 dollars to play it. I do like the fact that the odds are better than MM or PB since you need to get 5 numbers out of 40 and 1 lucky ball out of 21. I love the fact that the grand prize is 7,000 a week for life but the 2nd prize is 25,000 and wish it was more. I'm glad there is a new game in the mix just wish they kept it at a do

Buying More Tickets Does Not Increase Your Odds.
Your arguing with mathematical facts. Odds are indeed based on total number of combinations VERSUS COMBINATIONS PLAYED. Read the back of the playslip. Odds are based on having the one winning combination of the total number of possible combinations. If you think that's a false statement I suggest from hereon you skip the formality of actually playing your tickets and just send the money that would have been spent on fractions straight to the lottery of your choice.

Buying More Tickets Does Not Increase Your Odds.
LOL, I like to add odds of losing to the overview! I posted a probability table for keno (20/70), the last line shows the losing odds! https://www.lotterypost.com/thread/236304/2433608?q=SergeM tab=us rp=search

Buying More Tickets Does Not Increase Your Odds.
Yes for each combination your chances are the same. That's not what I said , I said your OVERALL chance to win will increase with each combo you play. I kinda thought this would be obvious. You play 10 combos at 175 mil to 1 , yes it's still 175 mill to 1 for each but Overall it's 175 mill to 10. As far as a big bankroller buying all the combinations, Of course it doesn't happen because the jackpot will never be big enough to make it profitible. The logistics alone of buying all the combos a

Well I'm back to feeling addicted to playing the lottery again
I was doing better the last few months with playing the lottery. But my anxieties got the better of me last week and I started buying more scratch tickets again, not to mention the weekly PB and MM and also started playing my state lottery game daily. It started when the new scratch tickets came out last week the ones that say you can win 5k, 2.5k, 1K, or 500 a week for life. The odds of winning the big prize is pretty much impossible yet I can't seem to help myself and was buying lots of ticket

Need some help on Keno
Published odds are all correct Keno payments are mostly stable. Published odds are not complete, it would take a full page and tell the truth. You should ask to get the results downloadable in a text file or/and other.

Weak Powerball Sales?
With the current PB smaller ($100 or less) secondary prize payoffs, it's difficult winning back the amount spent. 6/49 lotto and pick-5 games may the limit for system players that try to generate enough small wins to continue playing. Players spending $20 to break even and playing back their winnings can say they doubled their chances, but half their chances are already gone when they replay their winnings. With odds of 30 to 1 against winning any prize, $10 players are lucky if they collect

Weak Powerball Sales?
I've read your posts of $1 for 1 ticket per draw many time so what I posted wasn't meant for you. I stopped playing PB when its price changed to $2 so I know I wouldn't play any lottery that charged $5 a line. I simply stated increasing prices and limiting payouts have been tried before in my state and failed. Any game has to find a market large enough to support it to be successful. With MM staying at $1 per line with similar odds and jackpots and many state games having better odds but sma

New York Instant Scratch Off's fixed?
In Florida they came out with dollar scrachers $500 a week for life (twenty years) and two dollar scrachers $1000 a week for life. I was interested until I checked the lottery website and found there are only 4 and 6 prizes state wide respectively. The odds are there can't even be one prize in each county, so what's the odds there will be a winning ticket in my favorite store? The lower tier prizes are few and small, game's a waste to play. MM and PB jackpots
It doesn't matter how fast or slow it rolls. What matters is the odds and how much goes towards the jackpot from each ticket. The odds are essentially the same for both games, but each PB ticket puts about twice as much money in the jackpot. If you go by the advertised jackpot PB has even more of an advantage, because for every $1 in the jackpot MM advertises about $1.37, while PB advertises about $1.60. On average they should both sell the same number of tickets (175 million)before producing
