It's strange that NJ posts that the formula for payouts is 50% of all wagers divided by winners according to odds, but that the average win is 275 straight. So where X is the prize won for a straight win, the formula would be.....
X=(Funds generated*.50)/(Winners straight)+(Winners box/6)+(Winners-pairs/10) with all prizes being rounded down to the nearest 50 cents.
This should average out to 250 dollars, not 275. Unless they actually pay 55%, or if they take what they rounded off and

Id love to see ncel get a pitch fork rammed up their azzzzz's...ncel has always been tricky and they dont seem to care just how much they lay it to everyone that plays.
we do know one thing for a cold hard fact and that is: ncel use's hidden data/pre-draws to lead people down the wrong road as to what structures are missing and what is not .... the mofo's know that there are a lot of people that use pick3 software to crunch data with ....and pre-draws have a way of totally rendering pick3 sof

Badger 5 (part 2): My number selection process to you
....... also in My probability calculations chart, the odds are written backwards. 6.4:1 should be written as 1:6.4. The other Odds values need to be rewritten as well.
On 10-18-2011, two winning numbers were listed in the 1s column and three winning numbers were listed in the 4s column. This then was a pick 5 from a pool of 15. Hope you (or me) can figure a way to determine when these events, on Chart 2 will happen beforehand.

Powerball Ugh...
The odds of matching just the bonus number is 63 to 1 for PB and 75 to 1 for MM. What it really means is players would have to buy 63 or 75 QPs before they can expect to match the bonus number. While the odds of matching five numbers is high for both games, it's slightly better for MM and it pays $50,000 more.
When the jackpots are high like PB is now, a $10 or $20 bet seems like a good idea, but we really can't expect to win anything.
Good Luck!

Any Program works sometimes but No Program works all the time
Lucky Loser, I don't completely agree with your opening paragraph where you say that what is being represented is 1/2 or 1/4 of the total numbers involved. Whether you play $1 straight or .50 straight doesn't change the total of the numbers played. Playing $1 or .50 only changes the amount you would win. I could play 500 numbers for $1 each or 500 numbers for .50 each. If I won I would only break even, but playing one or the other does not reduce or change the amount of numbers I played. If you

Are the following odds correct?
The odds against matching 5 numbers in 6/49 games is 54.201 to 1. Since you have 840 chances, your odds of your wheel matching 5 numbers is 64.5 to 1.
Even I do the 840/13983816 calculation I get a 6% - which is 4% lower than what CM states.
It's 0.00006 or 0.006%, which happens to be the percentage of all they possible combos you bought.

Are the following odds correct?
If you were playing a 5/16 game then everything you said would be true but chances are you're playing a 5/39 game so you have to figure all 39 numbers when you calculate odds. If you have all 5 winning numbers in your 16 number pool then it makes no difference.
A 5/39 game have 575,757 possible combinations and with a 5/16 wheel you're covering 4,368 of those combinations and hoping one or more of them will have 3 or more of the winning numbers. Also you odds of have all 5 winning numbers in

Quick Picks Or Personal
The pick-3 QP button on lottery terminals is probably the least used. With all the three digit numbers we see every day, the only reason I can see to play QPs is just for some action. I've known lots of pick-3 players but never met one that played QPs.
The only way to compare QPs to personal picks is to play them both and that could get expensive. It's common for most pick-3 players to have some personal numbers and players probably do want to kick themselves when one of their numbers are dra
